This hack is too short and really lacking in substance. A lot of areas are empty or have giant slopes with nothing going on. The final level especially suffers from emptiness to the point where you find yourself dying from trying to fast-forward past the unforseeably long stretches of nothing the line guides take you.
The only noteworthy level is #1 IGGY'S CASTLE here. The first room takes a cue from the original level but amps it up to eleven with fireballs and Koopas. Sprite tile memory problems do occur frequently, however. The second room isn't the predictable auto-scroll with layer 3 smash but a layer 2 smash room that can hinder or enable your progress or kill you in the blink of an eye. I don't like that the spike ceiling doesn't peep out and there's no hints of safe spots so the only way to go about this safely is to see it smash and move slowly. You can only judge where spike columns are going to come out.
Other than this one level, the hack is not on the road to meeting its goal of exceeding SMW's difficulty. In fact, it is much easier, even if you never played either before.
