Tip: When you're about to release your hack, make a patch first, patch it to a clean ROM, and then test that. This way, you are testing both the hack AND the patch.
Most of the levels have item puzzles, with the exception of the very last one (which is a Sky Pop stage.) Hints are given in rhymes when the solution to the puzzle is obscure, which is a neat touch. The "babysitting" is kept to a minimum since at worst, you'll have to carry 1-2 items a very short distance.
I can't help but raise an eyebrown at "Chrisis" though ever since this hack's release. There are some palette issues, such as in that screenshot where Bob the Bass has gross-looking lips, and the Yoshi's House level has both a weird palette and cutoff treetops. However, it's not all aesthetically bad - the cave area in Puzzle Island has a really cool effect with foreground transparency that lets the brick texture in the background appear as part of the dirt and it doesn't move at the same rate as the ground, which reminds me of the cartoon Chowder and its non-moving patterns in clothing.
