The design is my main complaint. Most of the levels in this hack are nothing but plain grass with a few enemies here and there. Fortunately, there are a few exceptions: there are infact levels where there is an actual idea of design and a gimmick going on (like that line guided level in the ice world), and they were fun to play, pretty challengy as well. My overall opinion doesn't change though, since the majority of the levels felt very boring to me.
A side note, I hate how the author hiddens secret exits here: you basically have to blindjump in each hole until you find that there's a key with keyhole. It's not a very smart way to hid them if you ask me.
Aesthetic-wise, it's extremly poor: no decorations, no variety, the only thing changing from level to level is the BG, the palettes and the fact that it snows. This choose isn't awfully bad, but ATLEAST the FG could've been more varied and decorated.
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Major slowdown in some levels.
Overall, a poor hack with a few interesting levels. I wouldn't recommend it though.
