Description: Anicetus, the Goddess of humanity. Her influence on the world is tangible, and her children, humans, vowed to protect Gaea, home of all life, in her name. Time passed, and humans relied on their Goddess many times to save them. Though she was happy to help her children, they felt helpless when they relied on her. So humanity became self-sufficient, and Anicetus fell into a deep slumber, confident that humans would be fine on their own now. The year is now 2036. Humans have colonized planets far from their home of Gaea and have reached an era of uninhibited scientific discovery. Humans have long given up religion and Anicetus became just a memory….

I didn't had so much fun since quite a bit. This hack totally changed from the original SMW, it really feels like you're playing a different game.

The design is okay-ish, a bit linear, but thank god it is, since the enemies placement makes this hack a hell to play through. The commands are a bit sloppy-ish, like, sometimes you have to press a button many times before it makes you dash/shoot; this was a bit annoying. Either way, the design itself doesn't make many fancy shenanigans. It's okay though, since it makes the player accustomed to the new gameplay. Maybe I was expecting a bit more, but eh, I'm still amazed by how the authors here changed SMW. Good job.

Aesthetics are nice too. Sometimes, the FG looked a bit wrong in colors (like the one in screen 2 and screen 6), but the rest looked okay. Maybe there is some clashyness with enemies + some more detailed FGs/BGs, since enemies are more like a cartoon-ish style. Not too much of an eye rape though, the hack still looks good.

Some issues:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Some major slowdown.

Overall, a very good hack!
