World of Insanity rules

Link Thread Closed
Welcome to the World of Insanity 2.0. This place is a more flexible version of the talk forum with more lenient rules; it's the place to come and relax or share a few laughs. Take in mind, however, that this place still has rules and any failure to follow them may result into the closure of your thread. Repeated offenses will result into a warning followed by forum ban.

  1. Quality threads are still expected in this forum
  2. The World of Insanity is not a place to dump spam and thoughtless threads. If your thread doesn't provoke any sort of discussion or useful replies, it will be closed. Acceptable WoI threads include but are not limited to: discussions about silly topics or joke discussions about something that doesn't exist, crazy conspiracy theories, SMW Central fanfictions, threads about hypothetical situations and anything that generates some discussions or thoughtful replies.

  3. Keep your replies related to the topic in hand
  4. Just as we expect thread creators to have a general topic or directive line in their threads, we also expect posters to follow said topic. Avoid short one-word replies, posts consisting solely on images or posts such as "What did I just read", "What the fuck is this thread" or anything similar. Furthermore, don't post anything that isn't related with the topic in hand and don't derail threads.

  5. Don't post forum games or RP threads here
  6. Forum games include anything where users have to write their reply based on the post above, solve puzzles or take turns. RPing includes anything that involves playing with a created character. These should go under their respective forums.

  7. Don't make a thread containing solely an image or a video
  8. If you found a hilarious image or video, post it in the stickied thread in this forum, you don't need to create a new thread just for that.

  9. Don't copycat threads
  10. Something that's funny once won't be funny twice. If somebody makes a funny thread, you should by no means make a variant of said thread with a similar structure; this is unoriginal and only causes the forum to be flooded with small variations of the same thread.

  11. Other disallowed content
  12. Finally, to make things easier, here's a short list of what kinds of content you should generally avoid:

    -Threads about taking tests.
-"Post memes of X here" threads.
    -Cleverbot/Omegle/etc. conversation threads.
    -IRC quotes threads.
-Threads insulting or outright mocking specific users.
    -NSFW threads.
    -Threads about post milestones.
    -"Ask me" threads.
-Anything that doesn't have enough content to start a discussion.
