Guitar tabs for the soundtrack

I had an idea the last days. We could write the guitar tabs of the soundtrack. I already made one part of Fantastic Elastic. Good idea or not?
Well, it seems like the problem with that would be that you could only play one channel (or maybe two or three) at a time on the guitar. Still, though, it could be interesting, though I doubt many people would be interested enough to take the time. On that note, we could have sheet music for them as well (which should be easily doable for any that started out as MIDIs).

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.

Isn't that the problem with all songs though - you can only play the guitar part on guitar? When learning to play a classical song on guitar (let's use "Stairway to Heaven" as a pointless example) you really only want to learn how to play the guitar part on your guitar. You wouldn't want to recreate the piano portion of the song on guitar would you? What about drums?
In other words, that limitation is unnecessary. In fact, it would be better if only the guitar portion of the song is played.
Well, it could look like this: (example: Fantastic Elastic)
Background Melody:
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-0-7-7-0-6-6-0-5-5-0-4-0-0-----------------

Melody A:
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-----9---9----------7---7-----7------------
--7----7---7-7---7----7---7-7----7---------
-------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
--4-----4------------4-----4---------------
-----5----5-8--7--6-----5----5-4--5--6--7--
-------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-----------0--------0----------------------
--------2-----0--4-----2-------------------
-0-2-3-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------

These are different parts of the song (I jumped over a few meldoies) and I recommend to make Melody A easier by using a capo on the 4th fret. Sorry, if the breaks are not that clear. My music skills are avarage.

Mod edit: Fixed alignment.

I'd totally be for it if I can find time, though. I mean, there would be one-channel limitations and the like, but it'd be great experience and would be fun for guitarists here to have access to.

I'll see if I can't do a song or so...
