Converting Mario Kart 64 sequences to work with SM64

The sequences ripped from Mario Kart 64 will need some editing.

First off, to rip the sequences, download mml2m64.

In the tools, there is "seq_rip.exe" Copy cmd to the tools folder, copy your Mario Kart 64 rom into the folder(make sure it has no spaces in the name), and then run cmd. Then type in the following:

"seq_rip.exe [rom name].z64 0xBC5F60"

0xBC5F60= Address for sequence bank in Mario Kart 64.

It should then rip all of the sequences and place them into the tools folder. If you must, rename each to end with ".m64" so that you can import them with obj importer. You should realize very soon that MANY do not work. Here's the fun part, we will then pull out our handy-dandy hex editor and start editing some fun bytes.



Changing the header is very important. The "02 1F" usually has to be 02 1F, sometimes it will be different and crash... I'm not fully a pro, I can't explain why.
