Hey guys! Guess what day it is.
If you guys guessed that today is the day that YSQ is finally 100% completed, and that I'm going to begin with the official beta test of YSQ, then you guessed right! Also, guess what that means as well? It means that I'm finally going to accept beta testers for YSQ, too! For any of you that wanted to beta test YSQ, now is your chance. For those of you that want to, let me know here or in a PM here or on Youtube/deviantART/FurAffinity and I'll add you to the list below.

Now, here's how things are going to work this time around:
- Unlike previous times where I had others beta test my hacks, anyone on Youtube, deviantART, or FurAffinity that is interested can beta test YSQ, not just anyone that has an account here.
- I'm also going to allow more people to test it as well. If more than 15 people want to beta test, then I'll increase the size of the list (up to a point).
- Once I'm done beta testing YSQ to make sure it's possible to 100% the game (which I'm going to do so twice. Once to find and fix any bugs I come across, and again to test the patch and how YSQ works on a real SNES), I'll give the beta testers a copy of YSQ. I need to ensure that it's at least possible to do so, and that there aren't any game breaking bugs that would occur by accident.
- Your job is to tell me about any bugs you come across, so that I can potentially fix them, as well as telling me if the level design is good or about sections that are way too hard that need to be made a bit easier.
- If you have a Skype account, then you ought to tell me what it is so I can send you a contact request. That way, you can quickly tell me about anything I need to fix or improve in some way (or you can tell me about a specific thing you liked or things I did really well in YSQ). If you don't have a Skype account, but you do have a Steam account, then I'll add you to my friends list on Steam instead. If you have neither, then just PM me here or on Youtube/DeviantART/FurAffinity if you need to tell me something. For the people on Skype, I'll set up a group chat specifically for me and the beta testers so that the beta testers have a group discussion about YSQ, as well as having most of the feedback you guys give me in one place (although you can message me privately about something if you want to avoid spoiling something for the others).
- You can use whatever SNES emulator (or an SNES flash cart if you have one) to beta test YSQ that you want. I used BSNES (Compatibility) and an sd2snes flash cart to test YSQ, so it will be good if you guys use other emulators (or a flash cart) to test YSQ.
- In order to be considered done, you must get all 100 exits in YSQ. 100% Yoshi coins isn't required, but you can go for them if you want. I'll add your name to credits.txt and the in-game credits once you've told me that you got 100% exits. If you're going for 100% Yoshi coins, then please give me feedback regarding the Yoshi coin placement (Although, remember that the Yoshi coins are supposed to be hard to get in general or at least require the player to make it through 90-99% of the level without dying, as they are meant to be a challenge for the 100% completionists).
- If you're playing through a switch palace level or a level with a puzzle to it, then you can optionally make a video of you playing through those levels so I can see if you did it the way that was intended. I recommend that you make these videos unlisted or you send me the video file, so that only I can see it.
- Do not give this beta copy of YSQ to anyone else or post it anywhere. This version if for the beta testers only.
- I don't recommend LPing this beta version of YSQ. If you really want to LP YSQ, wait until I post the non-beta version in the waiting to be moderated section of the hack section.
By the way, I should mention that I'm going to be a little busy next week with something, so it will take me a little longer to play through YSQ twice (that's assuming I don't encounter any strange bugs that I have no idea what's causing them, such as this weird bug I encountered the other day while I was playing YSQ a bit on the SNES where the game switched control over to "Luigi" and the game was in Hard Mode, even though I set it on Normal and the Hard Mode patch makes the game 1 player only. Hopefully, re-applying the hard mode patch stopped the former from happening. And I think the latter was caused by the fact that the SRAMExpand patch likes to put garbage values into the RAM addresses it saves in a brand new file, but only on a real SNES, which I fixed by using levelASM to store the correct value to those addresses in level 1C5 and by making the game not save which difficulty level you're playing on). Just thought I'd let you guys know.
