Oh man, these are looking great. All of them look very good, but what I really liked was those big switches. Even though the original Map16 flips the half of it, you made it so that it still looks good. Just, just great, man. I also really liked the small switches. These feel like the good old SMW, btu with way better shading and more details. I didn't really like the sewer set, to be honest. I am sorry. There is nothing wrong about them, though. The reason is that I've actually never liked sewer sets. None of them. Dunno, they just looked weird to me, and still do look weird to me.
Graphics thread
"weird" isn't exactly helpful feedback. The sewer set looks absolutely fine as it is (minus the lack of details in the ground so far). If you expect Mineyl to fix anything, you'd have to elaborate.

Ah, it's okay. Sewers really, truly are elaborate structures of brick and concrete, though, so I don't know what I can do differently to make it more appealing to you.
Is it maybe a level type that you find off-putting? I know I dislike guts-based stages.
Welp, I've got few ideas, and am already juggling between a bunch of projects right now, so I'm making little progress. It would probably be more productive if someone else made the town's graphics.
Here's what I had made so far.

Nothing wrong with those. They still look better than the ones in the current base ROM. Any chance you could build a sample level out of them (using the Toad Town level in the base as a starting point)?
Rofl, I'm an idiot.
