Game Boy Stuff!

Link Thread Closed
Anybody got anything to say about The Grey Brick?
Users, heck even STAFF can post on my forum!
<Bender>:Bite my shiny metal ass.
<Fry>:Doesn't look so shiny to me.
<Bender>: Shinier than yours, meatbag.

What is The Grey Brick? What does this have to do with Game Boy? Where are any links to your forum you're advertizing?

You're doing it wrong!
This is talk. Threads for gaming systems go into the gaming forum. This forum is meant for discussion about things in everyday life, aside from games. So yeah, I'm moving this.
Also, you're not in charge of who can or can't post in threads. The staff is.

On the topic of Gameboys, I think they were a system made in a time where no developer really had any idea what to do with it, nor really understood its limitations that well. This resulted in it getting decent games, but none of them are truly fantastic. The Gameboy Advance is another story, however.
I always had a Gameboy Color, so the Game Boy always seemed more like an ancient relic. That said, it was the start of great series like Kirby's Dream Land and Wario Land (aka SML3). Not to mention it started the whole Pokemon craze and pretty much made Nintendo the dominant force in the handheld market.

Original Gameboy. It was greyish and had brick like properties, such as being able to throw it at people and cause injuries.

Also, I think he means "thread" not "Forum"

Anyway, I've collected about 4, I'm trying to get all the colours.
I used to own one, with just one game..
A Simple Racing game.

But it took about 4/6 batteries to play it!?
And the black and white screen made it hard to play in the sun...

The Gameboy Color was always dominate to it by many aspects.
But I always wanted the "Gameboy Light" which had a better lighting screen than the GBA

But Too bad it wasnt released in the U.S #smw{<_<}

There we go with the Japanese getting all the luck again. I've never had the grey brick, but man is it an interesting topic to go into detail about.
Technically you could still order it online through eBay or Amazon. In fact, here's one up in auction right now, and you could probably find it for cheaper in the Japanese eBay site. (or on sites like Play-Asia that sell a lot of Japanese consoles) Plus all Nintendo handhelds up to the 3DS are region-free (except maybe virtual boy) so you can play all the Game Boy games you already have.

Nope, that's free too.
Rule of thumb when collecting is that handhelds and things with their own screen are region free, due to there not being a certain signal frequency required to display picture on a cathode ray tube.
Yeah I wasn't sure. Of course that makes the 3DS look bad for not being region free, too.

The good news is that (I think) it's region-free.
I am sorry I made this thread wrong... I was and still am a noob.

I think you kinda proved your Noob-icity by bumping a 3 year old thread that nobody even knew about...

Its alright. We forgive you. Well actually, I don't know about the staff...
You, what do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder?
Now, somewhere between the sacred silence, sacred silence and sleep.
Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep.
Disorder, disorder, disorder.

Yeah you didn't really add anything to this thread and a 3 year bump is pretty bad, you should of just made your own thread so I'm just going to close this.
