Is uploading UPDATED legacy ports acceptable?

I found several ports on legacy ports folder sounds great, and it was removed just because don't work on morden emulators, I think, since I can't listen the original SPC properly when I turn on the echo rewriting function.

Now, I convert them to AMK format and fix them, and I know who the original author is, and I am going to upload into the section.

Is it acceptable?

They were submitted to the section by original author.

Before the remoderation, pretty much nothing worked on accurate emulators, so that couldn't be the reason.

I believe most of the legacy ports were actually removed because they were deemed too low quality to be kept. As such, I'd suggest against resubmitting them, unless you are willing to also make them sound better, in addition to making them usable in AMK.
The only legacy things I can think of that got removed simply for breaking and not poor quality are the Bowser Strikes Back soundtrack, the SMWCP1 Overworld song collection, and an older sampled version of the Yoshi's Island soundtrack by Jimmy52905. The Yoshi's Island soundtrack would be redundant now that LadiesMan217 has also submitted both sampled and unsampled soundtracks for that game. I fixed and resubmitted the SMWCP OW tracks, but made sure I got S.N.N.'s permission beforehand. I recommend doing that should you fix up some other legacy songs.
