Hello, I present you a homebrew game I made using the MSU-1 enhancement chip designed by byuu.
I made this primarly to learn with practice how SNES hardware works, thus, not much effort was put into it, and actually it plays in the same fashion as Super Road Blaster.
The story is as follows:
A tomb raider is chasing the legend of an artifact which conceives great power to the one who possess it, however, he needs to make his way through forests, caves and temples to reach his destiny.
Gameplay:
The levels scenarios are full of monsters and pits, you need to press buttons at timed moments to avoid them, just like Super Road Blaster.
The FMVs were made by TimeOfDeath, the soundtrack (I mean, the only song this game plays ) was composed by me using FL.
How to play:
I recommend bsnes-plus emulator to play the game, just make sure all the files downloaded are at the same place and load TCF.sfc.
Latest versions of higan already allows the user to play MSU-1 games by just complying the same requirements above, though you need to put all the files together in a folder named "whatever.sfc" inside your Super Famicom game folder (usually at C:\Users\name\Emulation\*). Additionally, it also works on SD2SNES flashcarts ;)
Download
Edit: Forgot to add screenshots x| will add them
