Emulator Help Thread

Does anyone happen to know where the bsnes debugger (v0.72) puts its trace logs?

----------------

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
I've been trying to find a windows version of this emulator, or one with the same feature

This modded version of snes9x 1.43 simply recorded each savestate as a special .smv compiles them all and exported to quick time once you finished your recording.

It simply lays each save/load attempt over the one successful one so you see all the failures in a short yet entertaining way.

The Mac version works fine and the windows version saves each .smv but it doesnt compile them because the dev worked exclusively on mac.

It's been 8 years since I've first seen this video and I hope maybe this community is also interested in helping me bring this cool little quantum physics emulator back from the dead.

I've asked snes9x team and got no response, among many other people.

Thanks, here are some more cool videos!

I have a bit of a silly question, but what SNES emulator is best for Netplay? I'm a bit out of touch on the subject, and trying to do google searches is turning up 2+ years old results, and I'm sure there must be more recent developments than that.
Whenever I try loading up the dolphin emulator, it shows this error. "The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1.0.dll is
missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
Even though I did everything to fix it.
Can somebody help?

Try installing this.

(Also now that this thread is bumped we should probably update the emulator info)
just link to http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Main_Page, probably the most useful resource for emulation in general that I've found
