Powerup for Spinjumping by Erik557

File Name: Powerup for Spinjumping
Submitted: 2016-12-15 03:00:18 PM by Erik557
Authors: Erik557
Tool: Asar
Requires Free Space: Yes
Bug Fix: No
Featured: No
Description: Makes it so spinjumping requires a powerup instead of being an ability. Requested by Yoshiatom.

Note that this might be incompatible with the custom powerups patch; besides, if you're using that patch you can just disable the powerups which allow it.

I inserted the patch without problems, but in the other hand, inserting the sprite just gave me a bunch of errors using the lastest sprite tool:

Code
inserting sprite: 0
.\sprites\powerup.cfg
tmpasm.asm:27: warning: Convert the patch to native Asar format instead of making an Asar-only xkas patch.
tmpasm.asm:62: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:77: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:79: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:81: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:84: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:111: error: Define !15C4 not found
tmpasm.asm:195: error: Define !addr not found
tmpasm.asm:27: error: Address out of bounds. [if read1($00FFD5) == $23]

Please fix this issue so I can continue moderating the resource.
No wait, I got confused and deleted the post I made earlier, but I think it was actually right. Don't have the permission to undelete my post, so I'm just doing it again. Derp.

This is an issue in sprite tool, I think. The latest version makes it use asar for xkas sprites, now it does that sometimes when in xkas mode. Could be an asar bug, but Alcaro stopped talking to me about it. Sprite Tool should be fixed and this probably doesn't need it.

To fix it for testing: Change the 1 at the end of the CFG to a 3 and it will assemble.
Sprite Tool 1.41 does not support SA-1, so it will not matter. This way of detecting SA-1 won't work. The user will have to do that manually.
