Originally posted by ImpetusWell, the reason I ask isn't for the purposes of providing an extension per say, but because the rules functioned as a safety net in the case something out of a user's control happened that prevented them from submitting their level on time (power outage, internet loss, irl emergency, etc.) rather than having a cut off point that'd prevent anyone from submitting at all in the unlikely event that something like that did happen. It also allows last minute fixes if someone submitted a broken patch or otherwise by mistake (albeit with a point loss).

I hope this is what you were expecting. Pretty much the same metric was used for VLDC9, with the exception of discount scale used since this contest uses the 100/100 score scale.
