What would you do if you ran out of level design ideas?

I was developing well on my Mario Babys hack until I got into my fourth World 4 level. It took a while to reach to the Diggin Chuck and other rock enemy things idea.

So, what will you guys do? Scrap the idea and do a new idea, or you want to keep it and take some time thinking like I did?

Unapologetically steal ideas from ha- I mean play other hacks to get ideas.
Who needs level design ideas when you have aesthetics and fancy ASM?

Seriously though I'd just take a break and wait for new ideas to come to me while I go do something else.
It's weird, sometimes I create (levels) effortlessly, sometimes it just won't come to me at all, there is no in-between. So I take a break, play some games, take notes on what I like, listen to some good music, I come back.
Just pull something out of your ass and do your damn best to execute it in the best way possible. That's what I've been doing lmao
I don't have much of an issue coming up with ideas (even if they're not particularly creative lol), but actually executing them is kinda hard to me. When working on a hack I tend to have 4-5 unfinished levels at a time, with only a few screens and the basic idea done, but take a lot of time to finish even one level after that.

Maybe you're burnt out from smw. Take a short break.

Also working under pressure (deadline for example) can do wonders.

This and also how I take breaks every now and then while watching videos of random levels to gain some inspiration.

I just step away and do something else. I'd rather scrap a level than feel like I have to add a filler level that I feel is not as good as the other levels (or sublevels) just to fulfill a quota.

As of late my approach is kinda similar to how book authors plan out arcs that take multiple episodes so that shouldn't be much of an issue, and also kinda why I don't like making super-long hacks (apart from making sure each and every OW event and warp is correct).

I often give hacking a break but that never works so I just do what thepat said
convince myself that i'm trash at level design and quit for 2 years haha
I just put random elements together and then I delete unfitting elements and adding what I think fits

IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?
