My issue is despite all the criticism, people are still watching it ironically. Stop giving them your money. Even if the reviews are shite, it's a win for the people who made the movie sadly. Just discourage this kind of behaviour lol
It may or may not be a win; we'll only know when the movie is out of the theaters and we get the numbers.
On one hand, it's getting a lot of attention, and on the other hand, I have never seen such a disasterous reception to a movie. Some people will just stay away from it, others will want to witness the shitshow themselves.

I think the movie hasn't arrived down here yet. I'm not caught up with movies at all so I don't know, but I'm yet to hear a single person talk about it at all irl. Maybe it won't come, even. If the dubbing studios have time to consider this awful reception.

I obviously haven't watched it, not beyond the trailer, so I'm indifferent. But right away I can tell it's a very poor and shameful way too obvious display of the monetization of art in recent times.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
I would have watched it if it had 🅱 even if it was horrible and supported horrible people
Back down to 6% now!

10% on Metacritic if anyone cares about that.

EDIT: 9% on Metacritic now.

You'll wish you didn't. It's bad. Really bad

B-but, Patrick Stewart literally plays Poop. This movie was made to be watched ironically. Anyway, I think you watched the Midnight Screenings review.

One thing that weirded me out is reviews often mentioned that it had a big name cast, but mentioned all these people I'd never heard of and not Patrick Stewart.

It is odd. Seemingly, it would be impossible to ignore the fact that he's in this, as the poop emoji. Maybe reviewers are deciding that it's low-hanging fruit?

James Corden is one of the most unfunny British comedians I have ever seen. Him being in this film is enough to put me off ever going to watch it!

Oh dear God, this film made £2.8M in its first week! #smw{x_x}
