VWF Dialogues Tool - 'no free space'

So I'm using RPG Hackers VWF dialogues tool, and everything was working great. Suddenly out of the blue it stops applying the patch updates saying it 'ran out of space.' Which should be nonsense considering the text was already in the game, I was just changing the text box position. Also the rom has more than enough free space. Wth?

Did you try using the newest version of Asar? Did you also make sure to use the newest version of the patch? How are you using the patch? Can you upload your patch with all of your text?
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!

- version 1.37 of asar
- newest version
- used the patch correctly, it just randomly stopped working

I have no idea what the problem was. It was just simpler to port everything to a new rom which seemed to have fixed it. Perhaps the rom got screwed up somehow.

Well, there have been reports of the patch leaking memory previously, though I haven't been able to reproduce that yet, so getting some directions as to what the cause of those (possible) leaks could be would be very helpful. That's why it could help to share your version of the patch with us. Maybe it actually triggers the leak, making it easy to reproduce.
