Your greatest accomplishments

Everyone has done things, or achieved things that, when thinking about, can just make you smile. So let me ask, what things have you done that you're most proud of?

For me, I have a few.

For one, the day I went skydiving. I'll admit, i was pretty nervous that day haha. Now that I've done it, I can officially say it was 100% worth it. Once I was in the air falling, it was a great feeling. So I'm quite proud of myself for going through with it.

Another is my hack. I've put a lot of work into it, but I'm finally almost done! It's a great feeling, and I could've never done it had I never put my foot down and finally committed to going through with it.

And lastly, I'll put where I am in life. I'm on my way to becoming a music composer, and I'm pretty proud to say I'm well on my way. I'm currently in college, and despite it being kinda difficult, I'm still keeping my grades up and hanging on. I'm also taking composing lessons. And at this rate, I consider myself already where I'm going- and that's a great accomplishment #ab{:)}

formerly known as TheBasicASMGuy or TBASMGuy for short. hi.
i dont really know if theres anything im proud of, to be honest.
But if anything, im not really proud of the thing ive done, but im proud of the skill ive developed doing certain things that make me think only a few people can make what ive made.
so i would say im proud of:
-my skill with music/composition (ive been to composing/conducting college but ive left on the 2nd year)
-my knolowedge on architecture (degree on architecture/urban design)
-my skill with computer graphics (worked as a architectural illustrator/ 3d modeller)
-my skill on woodworking
-And although i dont lift weights anymore, im proud that i was able to lift almost 400 pounds in the past. (not really a BIG number but not many people can do that)
During Freshmen year, I got outstanding grades that it bumped me up to college level courses, however, the school district never one notified me about it. Now, I'm an average student that pushed himself, so these courses were much more challenging and I was not used to the rapid flow of assignments, reports and essays.

I endlessly went to my guidance counselor to change my course levels to accelerated instead of college level. I was a sophomore for Christ sake. So after the first report card, I finally got my classes changed.... two of them: English and Math. I tried my best and ended up staying back a grade. The problem? The mail that notified me to go to summer school arrived in LATE JULY. And my dad bought us tickets overseas to Honduras. So I missed summer school and repeated the year.

My new counselor suggested I do credit recovery available during a student's lunch, study hall period and especially after school. So I got my shit together and went everyday after school, wrote notes down. This program consists of using a school's laptop to do an online program to recover what classes you failed. So after many months, I was the first one to finish both my courses. And I joined the rest of my college level classmates for senior year. However, I was placed in a junior homeroom and my ID says "11R" in which means, 11th grade - repeat. I went to complain to my principal and he mentions that the district forgot to include my health course I failed in freshmen... Never heard of this until at that moment. But as a nice guy, he moved me to a Senior homeroom.

But okay, credit recovery once more for one course, it was much short, thankfully.

During this time, the senior students got pamphlets of scholarships the school offered for seniors. One caught my eye, one that paid for two years completely for the tuition, only catch was the books I paid. I needed a GPA of 3.6. But I played ahead of time and did the placement tests for my community college. Once again, I endlessly went to my counselor to see if I qualified for it. I got my senior project done within the first month of the school year.

After a third of the year went by and I got called into my counselor to be congratulated that I had received the scholarship award, my GPA was 3.4. I was recommended to receive it because I showed the most determination to get it. And because someone missed out on taking the placement tests. BAZING!

I graduated as an honor student and was told that I was suppose to stand with the honor students at the stadium, but since I stood back, I at least got to stand next to my friends. A week after I began summer courses in my community college with 2 years paid off and slowly time has pass to today.

It really was something.
i had a fanclub in high school.
ask me if i give a f*ck...
learning asm holy shit my life is sad

I've never won a school contest, but still I love participating in them. I have scored pretty well in some of them: 2nd place in reading back in elementary, 2nd in ortography and grammar in 7th grade, and 2nd in math a year ago. I'm proud of those.
I guess,,, rapping in front of my entire school two years ago. I wasn't nervous. I don't know how that happened. And it wasn't that good (at least it got people cheering lol). But I feel it was a huge step to drive me away from my shyness. I'm not the biggest extrovert out there, but I'm no longer afraid of people, no way I am. I would totally do it again, but better.

Oh, and a Cambridge certificate in English fluency!
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Getting my current job at iHeartRadio. It's opened a lot of doors for me professionally and personally and my life has changed much for the better in recent years because of it.
Existing.

I mean seriously that was an extremely unlikely occurrence.

As for things I had some control over and decided to do, that would probably be rebelling against my parents and moving out.
The times I've been at university, really. But one in special is the class I and some friends of mine had to give to a few fourth grade students last year as part of a project. I admit I was kinda nervous at first, but everything flowed well, especially since I've never experienced this stuff before (and I'm pretty sure some of my classmates didn't either, but they are slowly fitting in, including myself).

And I won a "best student" certificate back in 2012! I got so thrilled by that.
