Starting today, I'll be posting the best movies for this year, around 10:00 PM PHT or earlier than 10PM in the evening. This follows the usual Twelve Days of Christmas pattern, but except it starts at today, December 26th, the day after Christmas Day, up to January 6th, Three Kings Day.
So let's start with...
Bright
Thriller film/Fantasy | 1h 57m
Initial release: 22 December 2017 (USA)
Director: David Ayer
Budget: 90 million USD
Screenplay: Max Landis
Music composed by: Junkie XL, Dave Sardy
There's nothing wrong with the Fantasy/Thriller combo for this film. Although that it's a Netflix exclusive, you better get some popcorn and a TV (and a Netflix subscription, too!) to watch the movie and chill out. And yes, this is how Netflix & Chill looks like.
Whaddya think? Discuss.
(or possibly, the worst)

Quote
In an alternate present day, humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Two police officers, one a human, the other an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which, in the wrong hands, could destroy everything.
