Welp, here i am. #smw{-_-;}

Long time no see, huh? Well, this time i'll actually post my things, unlike previous C3.

Most of the stuff i've planned can be found in this thread, unfortunately i couldn't do everything i wanted cuz lazyness =>

Enough of blah-blah-blah, here's the junk:

-Sprites from SPM
-Cherbil (cloud thingies that spew out a gas, those gas'es has different effects depending on the type of Cherbil that spewed it out)
-Shlorp (Weird... things that move slowly, eating anything within its path. The only way to kill one of those is to throw a Bob-omb against it, it'll then eat the bob-omb and BOOM)

-Sprites from M&L Superstar Saga
-Anuboo (Canidae-ish shadows with red eyes, that'll keep dissapearing and appearing in diferente places, occasionaly firing lasers at the player)

-Sprites from NSMB
-Snailcorn (runs straightly, staying on ledges. They can't be defeated unless you throw a shell or something against them, or, if you stomp them, they'll bounce off. This could be very useful to make it fall off ledges)

-Sprites from SMG
-Twirlip (angry tulips that'll start flying toward you once you approach them.)
-Digga (Just digs in a straight line, with half of its body exposed. They will just fall off if they're not touching any "diggable surface" AKA tile no. 0100)

Nah, no need for videos. Everything relevant is written either in the README or the first post in this thread itself.

Plus, videos are too big.
Do you have the Squawks the Parrot?
Can't wait to see these in the database once they are moderated. Would love to see a gif image so I know what they do just by looking.

Eh, i don't think i'm submitting those to the Sprites' section tho, maybe i should leave 'em in my filebin... i dunno.
cherbils seem to make roms crash with addmusick? is it trying to pull a sound effect thats not normally in the game?

it'd be nice if shlorps changed direction when they hit a wall or something, as opposed to what they do now. also, the shlorps carry layer 2 with them when they eat you (probably with how it moves the camera, any layer 2 stuck to the camera also gets pulled). this is a pretty bad bug as it prevents them from being used in layer 2 moving levels. these sprites also seem super resource intensive for some reason - two of them on screen nearly slows the game down to a crawl alone.

snailcorn seems like a really messy sprite. they get stuck on slopes really easily, and are kinda hilariously fast. im not familiar with their actual game counterparts though, but man theyre fuckin quick.

twirlip is a really cool sprite, & digga is pretty interesting, i could see it being used in some cool ways

1. Whoops, looks like i forgot to put defines on the SE that Cherbil makes when spewing a gas (i used a fork by Codec, and Cherbil makes an exclusive SE (Reznor Spit), that must be the crash) Anuboos should crash too, as they also use SE's from Codec's AddmusicK fork.

2. Shlorps don't change directions when they hit walls, and that's purposal. Their "real" counterpart from SPM just knockbacks, so i tried to replicate it in the sprite aswell. Didn't knew about the Layer 2 thing, neither about the slowdown with two of 'em in the screen.

3. Yeah, they're actually supposed to be "fuckin quick", but they aren't supposed to get stuck in slopes. I'll take a look at this ASAP.

4. Uh, thanks btw. I dunno if they'll get overrated tho, probably not.


Thanks for reporting theese bugs for me, by the way. They should be fixed yet before C3 ends.

When the shlorp eats Mario from the opposite site, sometimes, glitched GFX appear at the bottom-left corner.
Still, the rest of the sprites are interesting.
Edit: Also, when the shlorp eats big Mario and spits him into small Mario, the BG remains stationary.
