What game(s) have you decided to re-purchase just to cure your nostalgia?

Probably many of you, including me, has re-purchased an old game title we played during our early years or just never had the time to pick up the game. The wave of the nostalgic feeling we receive from revisiting these games will be something we will never forget.
There are tons of games, especially from the SNES era, that I keep coming back to again and again. To many to list, but I own most of them in at least two or three variations. There are also newer games that I have rebought a couple of times, though. I own the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on PC, 3DS and Switch. Also rebuying half of my Wii U library for the Switch, though I guess that doesn't count as "nostalgia" since I'm doing it merely for convenience.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
I recently bought Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii, not just for dust off the console itself, also for enjoying which was supposed to be the actual continuation to the classic DKC series of SNES (becuase yes, I haven't played it until now lol)

Speaking of SNES, I'd buy Yoshi's Island, but the old videogames consoles biz is a fucking joke in my country (I mean, ridiculously inflated prices and stuff)

I never buy simple ports as a rule, but I did buy FF5 for the GBA way back in the day since it was vastly superior to the previous playstation version and I wanted to play it mobile.

I don't recall any other games I've purchased twice. Older games I have zero compunction against ripping them off.
I recently bought Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island for Wii U Virtual Console because if it wasn't obvious already YI is my favorite game of all time. Plus I like that the GBA version comes with six new levels not in the original game.
I decided to re-purchase Paper Mario. As for the act of making said re-purchase, that has yet to actually happen still.
My layout has removed you.
-The DKC trilogy (Wii VC)
-Super Metroid (Wii VC)
-Super Mario World (Wii VC)
-Commander Keen complete pack (Steam). When I was a kid we only had episodes 1 and 4. The "complete" pack has episodes 1 thru 5 but it doesn't have Dreams or episode 6 (episode 6 is an example of keep circulating the tapes)
-Pokémon Yellow (3DS VC). I never actually had Yellow for the Gameboy but I did play Red, which is extremely similar.
-Pokémon Crystal (3DS VC). Similar story as Yellow.
-Super Mario All-Stars (Wii)
-Pokémon Puzzle Challenge (3DS VC)
-Super Mario Land 1 and 2 (3DS VC)

Can't think of one QUITE yet but if there's one I kinda want, it's Pajama Sam: Sock Works. Looks like it still could be fun. It's not that childish.
When I bought the SNES classic and got to have the original controller design in my hands it felt awesome. Way better than emulation(apart from the literal emulation error in Yoshi's Island,) especially once I hacked in mario all-stars and more games.

Also Devil Survivor on the 3DS, when I played the original it was my first exposure to SMT, it was a great time in my life, so I had to get the 3DS version, which I replayed like 6 times.
Off-topic: Can you please move this thread to the Gaming forum instead? It's kinda misleading to any other threads.
On-topic: Maybe buy a SNES Classic Edition for playing SMW and probably Shantae for the 3DS Virtual Console.

Or maybe get a NES Classic.

I've re-purchased Super Mario World for both the Wii and Wii U for nostalgia sake, plus the fact that it's been my favourite game. This other game doesn't exactly count since I didn't re-purchase, but through the power of EMULATION, I've recently gotten to replay Aero the Acro-Bat. It was one of the few SNES games I barely remember playing back then (likely because I never even got past the first level).
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?
One day I definitely need to buy another copy of SimCity (SNES), I <3 that game and its music to death. It always makes me think of Christmas because for whatever reason I used to always play it around the holidays. Same for the SNES version of Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move, which is another game I'd re-purchase.

Probably Tetris Attack too - best puzzle game ever.

(If it isn't obvious, most of my favorite childhood/nostalgic games were on the SNES.)
