Captain Toad Treasure Tracker in Dinosaur Land.

Standard

Thank you PaperWario for drawing...

Captain Toad!
Nice hack and nice table stretching to go with it.

Err...
Yeah, looks like a good hack though. Even though there's not a lot to go off of.

Nice passive attempt at back seat moderation. A word of advice for you, next time you should ask an author permission before updating there work instead of going behind their back and asking staff...
Umm...
wat

By giving you feedback, I'm... updating your old works?
I say again;
wat
It sounds to me like you're talking about me updating the Yoshi's Island Soundtrack... how is that related to this in any way at all?

The strecthing tables stuff is backseat mod crap, yes Ladiesman is a friend of mine so thats a bit annoying too. But I would rather not fight, and I do appreciate you saying it looks good.

Anyway, here are some questions regarding the hack:

1.) Is toad restricted from jumping similar to the original?

2.) In the second screenshot, what will happen if the Winged Goomba comes in contact with the green pipe from under? Will the pipe behave as a grey cement block (130) or a cloud tile (106)?

I don't think I've seen anyone pull the "Captain Toad Treasure Tracker" concept in a SMW Hack before, so this should be interesting.

I think yes, because he did it in NES style.

Looks decent BTW.

Yes, Russianman is indeed right. Captain toad can't jump, also he can't run all that fast.

To be honest I haven't seen the winged Goodbar hit the pipe yet, maybe I'll make it act 130 just in case.

As Russianman pointed out I already pulled it off once :) the only unfortunate thing is I lost the asm in a hard drive failure. Thankfully it isn't major asm.

I have a ton more levels I've made, but I've been putting off the over world. So I haven't played them or taken screen shots. And yeah I should those shrunken screen shots...
This hack is still active, I just haven't done much with the OW, so I haven't bothered with screen shots yet.
A lot of the rudimantary asm is done, all the hex edits are in place. The first 3 worlds levels are done. There will only be 6 worlds.
So I guess this hack is about 30% finished.

This hack looks good, and has a cool concept.
Thank-you!
Looks very good, and has a different ideia of the various hacks i've seen, maybe because of the protagonist. Good job bro!

"You all play, I win!".
Thank-you! This particular hack does use vanilla gfx unlike the first but gameplay is way different.
For good or bad I always like to make my hacks stand out.
Thanks, hope I can live up to the first one!
Now, that my Uncle Mario bros. hack is finished, I can concentrate on this hack fully. It's about 50% finished now.
Well, 3 levels left to make. Half the overworld is done. About 85% finished I guess.
Between OS/My controller/ emulator. It's a PIA to take in game screenshots, show here is some from lunar magic

getting closer to finish!
Expect v1.1 soon! I removed v1.0, apparently I had some bugs I missed in testing :/
