Hi, where did you get the map? I really want to perform a demonstration in a place like this.

----------------------------------------
My Hacks : Banana's World (One's present place of work, 55 exits Buy!)
I love you! I'm a girl.

As it snows, the atmosphere is very unstable and lightning keeps hitting me. ㅠㅠ

I like the cartoon character of the girl the most.

This place will update photos every month.

Thanks!

It's so good I was blinded and now I can't even see it.

New Yoshi Coin graphics, also Mario's a jerk.
The Yoshi Coin graphics look quite nice, as well as the animation. The level palette also looks very pleasing to the eye (or at least my eyes).

And yeah, I can't believe what a meanie Mario is! >:[
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?
Those new Yoshi Coin graphics look good to me, Gregor! And I have to agree with E-man38, I'm really liking that palette. Very pleasing to look at, indeed.
Nice level palette you got there, Gregor. I also love the Yoshi Coin graphics.

Shameless self-promotion from #showoff.

I was inspired by Deeke's really impressive map work above and it made me decide to finally give my own map badly-needed love. The previous iteration was from 2015.

Graphics are 99.9% original, hand drawn.

This hack is divided into three major segments, and you can attempt either of the first two segments from here. Looking at the northeast quadrant, you'll notice the first branching path in the game (it's the t-shaped one). This is the eighth level of the game, and the exit you take becomes a commitment. Each will take you on a long tour through a portion of the island, eventually depositing you at the beginning of the game again, where you are free to attempt the other segment, or try right for an ending.

The hack has no boss fights, per se, though the switch palace levels act in a similar manner, being the game's most challenging. Completing them all is necessary to access the third and final segment. In addition to making solid blocks, completing these levels gives great rewards. Each will raise the player's maximum health (the only method of doing so), and I want to make them give the player enhanced abilities as well (e.g. Wall jumping and a ground pound that acts as a POW block).

There is a full roster of submaps, but they are not ready for the spotlight just yet.

Chapter Two: Land of No Shame
@devlin_76: nice. I like that the trees in front of the ground are more brightly colored, it's a nice detail
@Ten: super well done, reminds me of VIP5's overworld. maybe the snowy parts could benefit from some more contrast though

perspective fuckery, part 1

That is a map and a half man, great job! I like unique graphics on the overworld.

I'm not really sure what the horizon is doing with the brown to blue effect and some the edges cut off a bit too suddenly. The rivers seem to pour out of the cliff face, rather than a cave for water to flow out of.

You've set a really high bar with this map. It slightly reminds me of that "The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse" SNES game. Please do keep it up!

@Ten: Very well done. I love how you drew the overworld graphics yourself.

Looking pretty neat! It's nothing mind-blowing, but that's actually perfect for what seems to be the first level of your hack. The design, scenery and palette are all appropriately pleasant. #tb{:)}

Thanks everyone, for the feedback. It is my food and drink!

I'm not really sure, either. What I want to convey here is that you cross over this bridge from the pleasant, sunny region you start in, and into the icy, stabbing death zone which lies ahead. It is supposed to be an abrupt transition (like how Alice would find herself in dramatically different environments from one scene to another as she traipsed through Wonderland). Unfortunately, none of the transitions I have come up with yet have been visually attractive. So, I'm still trying to figure out how to make it not look extra dumb.

Considering how visually appealing you've made the map, I'm sure you'll figure out the best way to make your map transition the way you want it to. ☺️

@Kiatus: cool stuff. are the darker parts in the ground supposed to be tunnels? if so that's a pretty neat idea, but I think it's a little too dark and stands out too much. the mannequins? are very unique. no idea what purpose they serve but I'm intrigued. 👍

here's an unfinished level. the
other moving turn block bridge
leads to the (currently unexisting) rest of the level

Sorry if is stupid quote all the post
Thank you, sadly, those are not tunnels, its just something i added for more "depth" to the decoration.
Also, those are not mannequins, they are just scarecrows i ripped from Yume2kki.
EDIT:I deleted them, cuz they have no purpose to be here

Also, your unfinished level has pretty cool gimmicks. It would be really cool if you finish it.

Hey guys! Been awhile since I've done something... again.

Anyways, what I'm doing right now is a remake of my level from the seemingly-abandoned Classic Creative Reassembly collab that was started by SilverSwallow back around 2011. I was going to create more levels, but time constraints held me back, and the only level I created was one called Pumpkin Plateau. It was generally liked by those that played it and the difficulty was appropriate for the world it was located in (I believe it was World 5 or 6).

Fast forward to 2018, and I notice I still have the files for the level itself in my uploaded files to SMW Central, so I decided, "What the hell? I have no ideas. Let's just remake this thing!"

This is what I have so far. I'm trying to fix the problems of the original level, such as the backtracking for the bonus room (It really ruined the flow of the level to me) and making it a little more varied on the level design, since there were spots that seemed a bit empty. I'm also planning on working with the palette some more to make it seem a bit more Fall-themed, as if the name of the level, now called Pumpkin Delight, doesn't give that vibe off already. I'm also aware of the cutoff of the pipes near the secret, I'll be fixing that when the main level layout is complete, then I'll go and spruce up the finer details.

FYI: The last part is not representative of the final product. That is leftover from the original level. All of what you see in the video is subject to change.

@Lotica: That's not bad for a vanillalevel. Nice job.

Here's a progress of the second level from my hack.
