Is CEN64 a good emulator?

CEN64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator that's supposed to focus on accuracy. But is it a good emulator to use? Will it play Super Mario 64 hacks optimally?

Click the character on the right side of my layout to visit my Discord server and discuss and play and look at and get updates and sneak peeks of the games and other things I'm making.

The authors of these 2 My Little Pony fan games have removed their games from the Internet.

I've never used it, but one thing to be aware of is that "best accuracy" doesn't always mean "best playability". From my experience, accuracy in emulators also tends to add input lag to a game, and this lag, at least in my opinion, can make games nearly unplayable. A great example for this is BSNES. It's the most accurate, but the input lag is so severe that I couldn't ever play an SMW hack in it without going nuts. In regards to input lag, ZSNES seems to be the only SNES emulator right now that's somewhat bearable, yet ironically it's also the emulator with the worst reputation here for its lack of accuracy, but to be honest, unless I'm developing stuff, I'd take a less accurate emulator any day if it meant making a game more playable.

That being said, as mentioned above, I don't know which N64 emulators are good or bad, but if accuracy is important to you, yet you also want your games to remain playable, you likely won't get around using some kind of flash cart and playing on actual hardware.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Last I checked, CEN64 seems to have great accuracy, but it runs too slow on most computers to even bother using it. I might test it again later to see if that is still the case. You should try it to see if it's worth it for you to use it or not.

Is there any issue with Project64 by chance? I know each different version has varied accuracy, improving in some aspects while regressing on others, but I've found v2.3.2 with GlideN64 to be quite reliable so far.
