Custom Powerups v3.4.2 - DISCONTINUED

Patch

Maybe you enabled GFX Compression. I'd suggest not using it yet as I'm waiting for SA-1 to have a better NMI handler to actually finish the implementation of compressed GFX.

That's the only thing I think that could be happening with that pic.

More info here.

Did you used the included graphics in the Graphics folder? You seem to have the original GFX10.bin instead of the GFX10.bin file included with my patch.

Woah! Thats it!
I totally forgot to insert them#smw{O_O}#smw{^_^;}
Thanks for the help!
Also these powerups are amazing, I tested them all and they inspired me great level design ideas.#w{=P}

The following link solves your issue: https://github.com/TheLX5/Powerups/wiki/4.-F.A.Q.#why-are-my-player-items-and-other-graphicstextures-not-appearing-in-game

That didn't solve it. What else can I do?

Honestly, at this point I ran out of ideas. I can only suggest trying to reread the installation instructions and redownload the package since other people have managed to get them to work without problems. Try not modifying anything else besides the !i_read_the_readme define.
Here are things you should know: When I applied powerup_gfx.asm to my ROM, besides the thing mentioned in the tutorial, asar also told me if I should insert the patch, regardless of bytes insertion.
Also, UberASM Tool gave me a few errors, besides inserting everything right.
News flash: I inserted the powerups successfully on my laptop.
Edit: When the intro screen fades, the left part of Mario vanishes.
Hello, I was testing these with snes9x on 3ds and noticed its imcompatible, in that version everytime you get a powerup the game freezes.
I guess that is a pretty old snes9x that was used as a base for that emulator in especific.

Hello, sorry for the double post.
I found another bug while I was playtesting my hack using your powerups, if Mario have a Feather or an Racoon Leaf and falls on a pit or lava the death animation gets glitched and he also appears glitched in the map.
Here's a screenshot:

EDIT:While testing I found out that the bug I showcased only happens once the players get a ice flower or penguin suit for the first time, so maybe they are related to the problem somehow?.

Bug found with Secret goal point 2 and 3.

Any plans for proper 2 player support? Not asking for separate sprites for luigi to be made but having the ability to insert separate sprites would be nice without knowing too much asm.

Would be nice for Luigi to have a separate palettes like the original. Plus there are other bugs like world map character and reserve item being bugged upon switching characters due to it not refreshing them between characters.

While using this patch, how would I change the Fire Mario sprite to put a feather on his cap (like Mario Land 2 Fire Mario, to distinguish more from Superball Mario). I don't know how to do that without changing the base Super Mario sprite.
I tried this again, but now it's giving me a new error.

Code
Enter a ROM file name, or drag and drop the ROM here: c:/users/XXXX/downloads/rom hacking/programs/super mario world/utilities/pixi/routines/extendedblockinteraction.asm:35): error: (E5088): Define 'EXLEVEL' wasn't found.

Dream team (feed them, please):

These powerups seem to be working great so far! The only bug i've encountered is that if I apply Worldpeace's current retry patch it crashes my ROM.
Is it compatible with Minimalist Status Bar please?
I'm Flandre Scarlet!.
The idea for the next patch
How about Mario & Wario's bucket Mario?
I think it would be interesting if you put a bucket and the direction key is reversed.
I apply you patch as on your tutorial but i get strange thing going on.See img for info what happens to me

Mod edit: Make sure to pick either a smaller image or use link for large images. Thank you!
The patch turns the powerups' graphics into dynamic graphics which is why the flower looks glitchy (but only in Lunar Magic).
Yes sorry for the large img xd and its not only the flower its the hidden mouchrom in lvl 105 to,and if i insert his palatt my colors get realy fucked up.
