Dragon Coins or Yoshi Coins?

Out of habit, I call them Yoshi Coins vocally, but I know they actually are Dragon Coins.

That's funny, I thought Yoshi was a Dinosaur, but Yoshi is on the Dragon Coin. The bigger question is: is Yoshi a Dinosaur, or a Dragon?

While I said "Yoshi Coins", it honestly doesn't matter that much on any meaningful distinction unless you change the graphics of such a coin itself for your own purposes.

Also I think Yoshi looks more like a dinosaur than a dragon.

you're wrong, Yoshi is a horse! :P
Personally I would say "The big coin I collect 5 of them each level".
In both Japanese and Chinese,

Dinosaur → 恐龍 (J:KyouRyuu / C:KongLong)
Dragon → 龍 (J:Ryuu / C:Long)

They have the same character.

In fact, Dinosaur means "Horror Dragon" in both languages.
