Yeah, I noticed that a few days ago. The code for the page hasn't been touched in a really long time, so it makes me wonder if something else broke it. Does anyone remember if it's always been that way or this actually is a regression?

I remember being able to use it without anything in the field before, because I just tried to use it today and it wasn't working like I expected.

randomdude999 tracked down the cause and suggested a fix yesterday while I was working on another issue. I've pushed it and the page should now work fine. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I usually keep this whole subforum marked as read just so I know if people are asking questions. Yesterday, I moved a thread to here and the "NEW" indicator for the subforum hasn't gone away even though all the threads in here are marked as read. Now, I haven't hit the Mark Forum Read button just yet because I wanted to see if I was missing something. I tried a Ctrl+F5 refresh to see if that made a difference and it didn't. It could be a cloudflare caching thing but I moved the thread a good 20 hours ago and I didn't think cloudflare caching took that long to fix itself.

I'll probably just click Mark Forum Read to fix it on my end, but it was weird enough I wanted to bring it to your attention before trying to fix it further.

Edit: Making this post and viewing it was enough for the "NEW" icon to now disappear.

The NEW indicators break when a thread is moved. It's a known bug that I've never had the motivation to look into. Marking the forum as read fixes it.

I figured it couldn't be the first time someone had noticed it, but it was the first time I had since I've only started marking whole forums as read since I became Admin. It's really minor in the scheme of things so I don't blame you for not bothering to look into it.

That was my thread. Telinc, have you taken a look at it yet?

I can understand this might be extremely difficult to fix and require drastic code change. It's quite minor, so fixing the issue wouldn't be worth all the effort.

Also, shouldn't this thread be named Minor Bug Reports? It'd not only match Minor Coding Suggestions, but it'd also imply major site bugs should be posted in their respective threads.

There's one thing I know I've known for years, but never told anyone because I never thought about doing it. It's like, the site will end if this gets fixed. In my posts per page setup (45), when I look at someone's posts, the profile column which has your name and avatar and stuff doesn't stretch the 150 pixels and instead only gets as long as it needs to fit the contents. I think it doesn't happen on a standard setup (20), which is why nobody else noticed this.

The donor coins don't show up to staff and helpers in the online users list (they do along with the birthday cake though), but it doesn't happen in the profile column. I assume they were overwritten or something? That was a thing I was aware of for weeks but only went around reporting it now.

Works as intended. To avoid clutter, the online users list only shows one icon.

At least a few months ago I could play the SPC previews on my phone, but now the button for that doesn't show up and there's text that tells me to upgrade my browser instead.

I'm using iPhone5S with iOS 12.4.2
