Super Phobia World.

The root of the is simple: phobia.
Every phase in the game has its foundation in a phobia and its development based on that.

The first is ''GEPHYROPHOBIA'', the second is a surprise #tb{:j}.
The anatidaephobia is a good idea, i searched in the central, but there's nothing with ducks #tb{''}.
I'll think about making some graphics myself, in blocks is possible but enemies is more complex.

I don't think there's anything about phobias on this website. Such a great concept!

The overworld's looking good, but I want to talk about four things. I'd revise the palette of the central island. I spotted a perspective error on the forest island. I'd make the central water area less empty. Also, what's that topmost waterfall? Is this a quicksand and does it run down to the lake?

As for the levels, I can't tell how they play, but make sure they're more eventful than just long muncher jumps and not too many sections are walk in the park if you make kaizo levels. Don't overuse old tricks.

1. Yes, i know the wierd palette. I'll still think if I change or not

About the levels i understand what you are saying, really have plenty of munchers but there are a lot more to it than that, then I put other prints of the game in the busiest areas to prove it.

I trying to rush more levels without lowering the quality (or i thing i'm trying #smw{O_O!})

Now only the last land is missing (and the secret area.. if it exists)
I hate the normal level bonus blocks.

they are so... restrictive.
Every time I'm going to do something I have to stop and think ''but you can do it at the bonus level without filling up with grey cement blocks''

I used the YY-chr program to redo the bonus blocks and it was even good to use #smw{:TUP:}



Well, besides I completed another level, but whatever.

This will be the last switch palace, I'm thinking of putting a boss just to surprise everyone. Perhaps #smw{o_O?}
I don't wanna sound harsh here, but you could've downloaded these graphics and insert them into your ROM. You can find more expanded tilesets on this site, too, just in case.

I'm doing the secret level before the final level to balance the difficulty.

He is secret so I don't want to give too many details and spoil the surprise. It will be the hardest, so it will take a little longer to create and test it.

It's advised to leave your hack for testing to anyone. Thus you can tell how much you need to polish or if it was generally enjoyable or meh. If the latter, you can get some advice on how to improve your kaizo designing skills. Or you'll get a straightforward 'take a good grasp of what a kaizo hack should look like playing others' works'.

I put a Thread in the test section with the Download, play if you want
(I know this thread is old but I'm hoping the creator will somehow still see this) - I've played up till Cryophobia (with savestates to check the RTA-viability of the hack) and I'd say this level is probably where the hack stops being doable without using savestates, due to the lack of checkpoints between the 3 rooms and the extremely heavy rng factor in room 2 and 3.
This hack has so many cool ideas though. It seems to be designed like a Kaizo: Light hack, intended for RTA play, but surely some sections were tested with savestates only. If you ever decide to do a remake, I'd love to help testing.
