Some more of Hunter's Path. Took some damage in this run. :/




Kind of combining SMB2 and SMB3 level styles into these levels now. I find it quite enjoyable actually. The designing I mean. The levels, that'll be up to you guys to decide on the upcoming demo.

Wow, it looks good. I do like the combination of SMB2 and SMB3. I do like the aesthetics. Looks great overall.

A poisonous dune is always "fun". Hunter doesn't think so.

You should. Every resource you have in your ROM should be used and experimented on for finding creative uses for said resources.

Now then, the poisionous desert theme is rather weird as I rarely see it being used but Mario logic: Need not be making sense.

The Alraune are going to be a small issue. You can easily kill them by hopping on them before things get bad.

Just posting some progress, letting those know who follow this hack that this is not dead.
Well, it's been about four months since I posted anything here. And rest assured, I've been working steadily on this hack; mostly on secrets and alternate routes and stuff. Anyways, just got some more of the mining world to show off.



By the way, if anybody knows how to fix OW HDMA showing up when you start a level, do please tell me. I could benefit a lot from it!
Id cut back on those heart-shaped Bumpty reskins right of the pipe you exited from by one. The rest I have no problems to say other than it looks polished, as usual from your skill.

I like the mining concept you're going for. There doesn't seem to be many mining levels lately, I myself enjoy them a lot (reason why I enjoy dkc-games so much). Just don't make it a regular cave level, please. :p

(also, I can only guess there's a bunch of metroid sfx going on there. I mean, you shoot rockets and collect hp spheres, soo...)

Not sure if this works for OW (I think it does) but...
Alternatively (including but not limited to the issues with the patch), you can user UberASM and use this code for gamemode 10 (loads the level):

The exact steps depends on whether you use the tool or patch and in case of the former, whether you already use a code for gamemode 10 or not.
  • If you use the patch, open in the folder "codes" gamemode_init_code.asm and put the above code right after "gamemode_init_10:"
  • If you use the patch, there are two possibilities
    1. If you haven't got codes for GM10, create a new file with the following content:
      Code
      init:
      	STZ $0D9F
      RTL
    2. If you have got a code for GM10, you simply have to put the code at the very top right after the "init:". In case, there is no such label, use the bottom code instead.

Some more work on the level which introduces Dark Slime Girls, monster girls with incredibly high durability. You're much better off just avoiding them completely, or defeating them with a missile. Somebody has turned BETHunter and BETScorpion's home into a slime factory!

i'm D4C fans , l love your hacks . so i remeber that hack , and now this was finished but it's beta hack , none links , it has more bug , i waiting maybe someday this hack was finished , i think this is my playing best hack (sorry i can't speak english , that was bad)
