Where's the bumping very old thread rules.

If i renember correctly, bumping very old threads would cause these old threads to be closed, am i correct?

If you're going to make a new reply in a thread that's many months to many years old, you must have something important to add. If your reply to such a thread has little value in terms of discussion, or the topic is not relevant anymore, you're just throwing a useless thread onto the first page of the forum.

It may not be in the full site rules but it's listed under most seperate forum rules.

This is a really old Policy and we stopped doing that ages ago. We will only close a bumped thread if it's become irrelevant/obsolete or if you bump it and add nothing to the topic. If you bump an old thread but add something to revive the conversation then it won't be closed.
