Going off of everything you have shown off here, this looks really promising! I'm excited to see how this turns out. Things look nice aesthetically, but the true highlight is of course the level design. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Keep up the great work!
I think that palette looks great, actually. That deep dark crimson is a really awesome contrast.
Resuming work on this after a small break. I have a few new levels I'm working on, but none of them are in a presentable state right now sadly. For now, here are a few screens of the second half of Slow and Steady.

Done with most of the finishing touches on Slow and Steady (other than garbled graphics occasionally appearing for a few frames, due to the Sumo Bros. flames I assume), here's a video showcasing it.

Your level design is always a treat, I'm really enjoying the flow of your newest level. It reminds me a bit of Tactical Ambush Operation from the original JUMP if it utilized some more modern blocks and sprites. Great Work!
So I'm guessing Sprite Stacking is gunna be the new 1F0 Tile?
The level looks really nice and I like the music and overall aesthetic as well.

(Sonic CD has a killer OST to choose from)

That said I like how the first half of the level is pretty normal then you get all the Sprite Stacking action in the second half. Looking forward to seeing more whenever! #smrpg{y}
Small update on the forest (world 1?) castle, as of right now based around slow falling Thwomps and Monty Moles. Aesthetics are probably closer to final than the actual level design, as I'm considering making each world's castle a "mesh" of the gimmicks from their respective worlds' previous levels.

Some more progress on the castle level, tentatively named Featherweight Fort. Struggling a bit with making good use of the moles (in conjunction with the slow falling Thwomps/Thwimps), so I might save them for another level.

Whoa, just noticed it's been a while since I've last updated this thread #smrpg{gasp}

I'll be focusing on HackJam for the duration of the event, which means this project will be on hold till then. For now, here are some screens of the latest level I've worked on, PLATFORM PANIC. Pressing L or R spawns a temporary platform at the player's current position, which can give you some extra height to help dodge obstacles, among other applications.

It's nice to see another level! I'm really excited for this hack, the levels look like a lot of fun to play and the aesthetics are great! O.O

Good luck with HackJam!
Recently reworked the first half of Featherweight Fort, so here are a few more screens of it. I decided to cut the moles and focus on a combination of grey falling platforms, slow-falling Thwomps/Thwimps and Sparkies. I already have a few level themes/gimmicks I'd like to tackle once I'm done with this level, so stay tuned for that #ab{;)}

A C3 mini-demo is now out, featuring Fuzzy Heights, Slow and Steady, Sinking Sand Sea and the first half of Featherweight Fort.

Get it here!

Still working on this. Here are a few screens of SPOREBURST GROTTO, which revolves around rotating platforms and Volcano Lotus variants. I've also made a few minor changes to previous levels since the C3 demo, but nothing too major to show off here so far.

Not a bad level. I recommend #smw{:peace:}

Sporeburst (now Sporeblast) Grotto is finally done! Only took about 2 years #smrpg{cool}

Hoping to get the next few levels done in a more reasonable amount of time. I got stuck on how to continue this particular level for a while, and it was bothering me enough that I couldn't get any new levels started either lol. Anyway, here's a video since I haven't shown any new content in ages (literally):

Glad to see more Frivolous Journey progress from you, Aeon! I can relate to getting stuck on how to continue levels for a while, the struggle is real. #smrpg{sad}

The wait sure has paid off though, Sporeblast Grotto looks so good!! I love the way it progresses with the different Volcano Lotuses and stacks of enemies, it's already easy to tell it'll be such a joy to play. The same can be said for the rest of your levels so far!

With that being said, I'm totally looking forward to what else is in store for your hack, no matter how long it takes. Good luck have fun!
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?
