1. Daisuke Ishiwatari - Armor-clad Faith (haha funny society song, oh wait, this a fuckin' banger tho, god damn; but yeah, jokes aside, I've always been excited to see how Guilty Gear music sounded like, but I never listened to any of it since I wanted to listen to it in the context of the game itself... certainly not disappointed tho, this fuckin' hits hard man 🤘😤🤘)
2. Sinc-X - bowser's castle (gonna be honest, I would've preferred the Star World theme instead since I like that one more for general listening, but yeah, this is still very much an obvious nomination either way lol; pretty much Sinc's magnum opus right here haha)
3. Igor Stravinsky - Spring Rounds (ngl, I kinda liked when it started to get messier and more chaotic, even tho it got really overbearing, which I assumed was intentional? but yeah, dunno if I liked it that much to vote for it sadly)
4. Spiralmouth – Cavern Catastrophe (this was surprisingly a lot cooler than I was expecting, personally thought I would hate the vocals, but I feel it gives a lot of charm to the track; but yeah, once again, wasn't good enough for a vote I guess)
5. Cheshyre - Main Theme [Madness Combat 6.5] (I like the synths and the general vibe, but otherwise it was just "meh" sadly)
6. haircuts for men - weakling heart (same as above)
7. ZUN - Kobito of the Shining Needle ~ Little Princess (personally, I always found this particular final boss theme to be pretty cool, but now that my tastes in music are much more different now, along with my enjoyment of the series having effectively nose-dived into a fuckin' cliff with no chance of it ever going back up, I just don't like it as much anymore; also I love how it goes to shit the moment the fucking ZUNpets show up lmao)
8. Kristofer Maddigan - Ruse of an Ooze (it's fine)
my rankings are, from best to worst (but I didn't really hate any of them tbh)
ruse of an ooze, sukuna theme, bowser castle, madness combat, haircuts for men, potemkin
