Boos, Koopas, and Dinosaur Land

Mario defeated Bowser, which was pretty cool, but there was a minor problem. All the colours of koopa are fighting over territory. What about the boos? They seem to be very quiet for the chance that lies before them. Time to clean up your mess Mario. Welcome to...

Boos, Koopas, and Dinosaur Land
(BKaDL for short)

A polluted beach full of Monty Moles.

A temple made of stone behing used as a hideout.

This little Koopa built his house out of bricks...

Hell is a great place for a hideout.

The swamp is full of tricky traps.

This could be subject to change, but the major mechanics work is done.

1 and 1/2 levels worth of gameplay spliced together. Give you all a feel of the level design and resources used.

Now, on a down note, a good demo isn't ready. If you wanna BETA test just PM me and I'll gie you the RAW product for review. In fact, I expect to never publically release a demo, but BETA testing is always available.

Hope you all enjoyed the show. Don't forget to check out Pandemonium Fortress 1 & 2 in the hacks section, all my custom music submissions, and that SM64 style lava in the custom blocks section.

Cheers and happy C3.
I made a standalone game once, look for Seabug Stampede on Google Play.

Bad status bar.

Oh, and you should maybe give the player a power up in that section.

C3 booth the 7th

After I glance at some other displays, I make my seventh stop in front of a booth labeled "Boos, Koopas, and Dinosaur Land".

I ignore the videos and glance at the screenshots.

Mario games have repeatedly featured Bowser, who makes another attempt though Mario has defeated Bowser many times. So I almost never see a game that shows the effect of Bowser becoming unavailable. I would not have guessed that the four colors of Koopas would split if there was no Bowser, but that is what I see here. The blue Koopas seem to control that watery cave, while the red Koopas control that lava area. Am I correct?

Does the beach belong to the Monty Moles, or does it also have Koopas or Boos?

This game looks like something that I might play, except for that one area with the green swamp bubbles. I am not sure of the difficulty of spin-jumping on the bubbles to progress.

This might a SMW hack that I eventually play, or a game that I forget. "Boos, Koopas, and Dinosaur Land" will exit my mind as I rush to visit the remaining part of C3 for today...

Hacking Super Mario World since 28 February 2009
SMWDISC
Red in the volcano, blue in the swamp/water area, green completely disorganized, but where are the yellow?

Also, hmmm yes, I never noticed the status bar being bad. Mostly since it only affects the red. I'll play with the palettes a bit to fix that just for you but I would rather sacrifce the red in "MARIO" and the bonus star than shift the entire BG.

Anyway, I'm glad to have some interest this C3, even if it's just a critic and a pretentious bastard =D

But with this being seen a bit I may just open up a thread in the hack discussion page and you may all just see the neatest new hack yet.

Afterall, people loved Pandemonium fortress 2 and I promise this to be at east 5x the quality and fun.
