I'm trying to play some hacks on Zsnes, and it is lagging like crazy.

Originally posted by CX gamer For example, the row of coopas in the beginning of the vanilla first level to the right. They cause sprite-lag. I know that was a bump, but i might as well help: When too many sprites are on screen, the game naturally lags. The SNES can only process so many sprites on screen at once. Unless it's lagging all of the time? |
Who knows when I'll have something to put here. |

Yoshi's Island 2 or whatever level it was with the huge row of koopas always lags. I don't know if it lagged on the actual SNES there or not, but it always lags on ZSNES, because there are too many sprites on screen at once. It's just bad level design on Nintendo's part honestly. |

No emulator perfectly emulates a real SNES, so there may not be a solution. In fact, I think audio glitches are fairly common in emulators. ZSNES is the preferred SNES emulator almost everywhere, and I recommend it personally, even if it does lag at like, 1 part of the entire game. As for your actual question, I have not heard of a solution, but your best bet is to see if it came with a help file or FAQ. |
