Improvements, Thoughts, and SMWCP2

I didn't fix it yet because:

1. The dolphin is in maybe four levels max.
2. Other, more pressing issues were caught.
3. I was busy for the last two days.

I do have a few minor bug fixes planned for v1.3 though, and that will be one of them.
My apologies for the HDMA bug in the final battle at 2:26 (note: contains spoilers). I did not encounter said bug in SNES9x while creating this boss, but it looks like it somehow got caught in the end of the game. It also appears the Fuzzies don't fall out of the sky in the first phase, whereas they should. I don't know how the hell that happened.

I should've fixed it if it weren't for the fact that I deleted my resources. xD
--------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
Okay. I finished the desert world, and I MUST say, the tutankoopa boss was AWESOME. It was one om my most favorite bosses to play against. <3
And - IT WASN'T GLITCHY OR REALLY HARD!
Secret Exit for Football Canyon:

Unless there's another way to get down there, you can't expect anybody to pull this trick off and jump over there. I've been whoring savestates already and I just can't get down over there.

Do I really have to get a cape to float over there? I mean, getting through the first part with that braindead chuck to open the way to the key is already fucking difficult without getting hit.

e: I have a proposal for SMWCP2: Let multiple users rate each single level and decide if it's worthy of being included in the hack or not. That way we'll end up with less crap.

Oh, and don't let leod contribute any more of his shitlevels please.
I agree here. Multiple Midway points are essential. Some levels in the hack are quite long. There are also some infair jumps. Those shouldn't be so frequent in the sequel.
Also, to get there Weeabuu, you need to get to the lowest ground and do a short jump from there. It's not possible in one try, unless you're lucky.
Now I feel kinda bad, because when I got the secret exit in that level, I *did* have a cape. :p

So yeah, I'm not really going to be posting for a while. Not that anyone cares.

actually you just have to go up top to where the white spike thingy. It's a forced hit though.

Nope, it isn't. You just have to hold the jump button, get a little speed and run off the platform. It worked for me, and I've done Swampland passage already :P

Yep, when I first made it it was way easier to get down there, but now it's nigh impossible without a forced hit (or GN's method which is new to me).
Blame someone else.
Your layout has been removed.
The only thing I touched was the wind, in which I added a few tiles because I found it impossible to get in the opening. It was also two tiles wide before, and now it's three.

Also, I hope the people doing the difficulty complaining have plans to help out if SMWCP2 happens, or else .. well, your points are kind of null, honestly. Remember, it's all a team effort.
Is it just me or does the second world have barely any powerups to offer? Especially the level before the castle has like no powerups whatsoever.
The people who designed their levels weren't very lenient on their powerups it seems. I added a few Mushrooms here and there to certain levels though to make them a bit easier.

That, and there is always the shop (which, by the end of world 2, you should have enough coins to afford a couple of items).

Ironically, I think there were actually supposed to be mushrooms right before the World 7 boss that never got added in the final version. And the shop really isn't worth it, considering how expensive everything is and how easily something like a mushroom can be lost.

Also...

I almost certainly will.

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.

Well, that's the problem, cause now the wind pushes you up too far so you land on the ledge above you again.
Maybe just make the big ledge a big smaller or delete the spike and everything is fine.

Also you have to be a freaking master at manuevering Chargin' Chucks if you're trying to get that level's secret exit savestateless. It took me a while to do it the first time with savestates. #w{:s}
Good fucking bye.

World 4's boss appears to glitch-out when he's hit for the first time, on zsnes 1.51.
A glitch I found that makes Sinister Dungeon's boss unbeatable:

^ How did you even manage to pull that one off?
I don't know. I tried to replicate it several times to no avail.
... someone already mentioned that earlier in this thread. I think it has something to do with it's jump attack- it got stuck in the wall... though why it would stay in there for the whole time, even when it jumps, I don't know.
