Standard

like I said I need some input but basically what this level is reintroducing the fire flower
Before

After

Here's what the text boxes says

Display message 1
------Yoshi-------
Mario,We got you a
fire flower,It's
more powerful then
on Dinosaur land.
Now you'll be able
to shoot four fire
balls at a time!

(keep in mind I'm going to turn this into a cutscene so I can put more dialog in like 'but you won't be able to shoot fireballs while spin jumping'

Look!,These eggs
are about ready to
hatch!
For one you need to fix the yoshi saddles or remove them as they match the color of the yoshis and look weird. Also the tree looks kinda off color wise there shouldn't be a shadow on the top of the conopy. It also seems a little bland but I can't really put my finger on how.
It looks good but it's a bit flat. Maybe adding some slopes and elevation to the ground would greatly improve the aesthetic appearance of the area.

And yes, please fix the color of the Yoshi saddles. The level could also benefit from a custom palette.

Also the yoshi shoes I just noticed them.
No blue Yoshies? :/

I suggest you using custom palettes. It would make the level look nicer and as other said, the Yoshies haven't the best palettes here.

Four fireballs? Is that real? Hmm... I would stick to two fireballs for two reasons:

-More sprites = More lag
-It's sometimes easy to kill all enemies with two fireballs but with four... pff... it'll break the game.
@Wormer The 4 fireballs come from a modified extender sprite patch thing that let's mario have up to 10 fire balls at a time but this doesn't break the game it all reality you probably won't notice a huge difference when playing. As for the lag there is none because they are extended sprites they use a different OAM space then normal sprites, pretty much just think of fire balls as cluster sprites.
Here are some sugestions:
-add some slopes, like it was previously said, not all the terrain, just some of it.If not, add ledges and some platforms
-Trees.Make the trunks be separated random intervals, not all the same distance.Add some one-block-wide trunks. The treetops should be bigger and more irregular.
-Yoshis should use the same gfx, but with different aplettes. Also, you should exanimate them, they would look more alive...
-Every flower is the same.Make them use the yoshi's palettes, that way there would be 3 diferent coloured flowers.Yet again, place them randomly. Also, aply an x-flip on some, thatway there will be more variation.
-You should REALLY exanimate the eggs to hop up and down:).
Your layout has been removed.

Ah, that's when I don't know anything about the ROM map, lol.

But 4 fireballs would make it much easier to kill enemies.
How did you make the Yoshis talk to Mario? I've tried making moons that talk for my ROM hack, but they dissapear when I touch them.
I'm not dead.
I think he's using a NPC Custom Sprite.

Also, this level is so regular. The trees, the ground, the Yoshies, all. So, try to use slopes, make more irregularity to the trees and the trunks.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
