Alright this is seriously becoming a problem.

Kaizo

All you need to do is stay focused.

As for that, why not continue on with Mega Cruel 6 and perhaps, oh, I'll just give you a tip for making levels.

Here is what OGS suggested that worked for me:

If you can't think of any idea's then do what I do (And alot of other kaizo hackers do), pick a sprite or 2(and/or block), custom or vanilla it doesn't matter, and base an entire level using that singular sprite in anyway you can to give the player grief in puzzelish or just in anyway.

Oh thanks that's helpful! :D

I've been having technical difficulties with MC6, and with my lack of inspiration, I haven't really felt like dealing with them.
Alright hate to bump this but I'm seriously getting desperate. I haven't made a level in several months and I'm wondering if I might be losing it completely, and may not create any more hacks. I've really really been lacking inspiration, and I really wish I could get back to making levels. I'm really not sure what I can do anymore. Can anybody help?

:(
The same thing happens with me whenever I make levels, the difference is that I don't want to copy any levels from someone else. If you want a tip, just get inspiration from different kaizo hacks (not COPY it completely, like the mistake I did when I was making Fourteen Hitler) and then if you think the part of the level is good, then test it and then make another part as you go on.

Thanks a bunch, but the thing is I've already watched almost every kaizo hack in existence, so I'm running out of new concepts :/
Just pick at random any patch, sprite, block, etc. from their respective sections and make a level based on those. There are many, many creative things you can do with just one or two (per level) of the hundreds of custom stuff out there, as I've learned from making E=MC Hammer. Pick something that's underused or that no one would expect to be used in a Kaizo hack, and use it in a Kaizo way. Or if you're daring enough, make your own resource just to use in a Kaizo way.

My little suggestion is try to think of ways on using underused sprites, sprites in the sprites sections help but most people try to use the underused sprites in, well, SMW...

Also follow on what Sokobansolver suggested, that tip he made really helps =3

If you're running out of ideas for a kaizo hack, why not attempt to make a pit hack or a regular hack?

I'm not good enough to make a pit hack, meaning I'm not a skilled enough player in order to do that. Also I tried regular hack, and it ended up just being a savestateless kaizo hack called The King of Pasta.

Also yeah Sokobansolver, I really like that idea. I'm gonna work with it!
Whenever I run out of ideas I try to do something completely random, unrelated to smw, and then make a level out of it. An example would be: "Oh noes I'm stuck" --> "What is random" --> "Fish" --> "I want a BIG fish" --> "Let's use a whale" --> "Let's make an animated overworld with a level in the belly of a whale, and when he dives the level becomes a water level".
Yes, I'm considering making that. Anyway, I usually pick the first word that comes to mind (no swapping!) and see how good a level it could make.

As for sprites: I find that quite a few have been used already (there are definitely underused sprites, but not that many). If you can find something useful by looking at the sprite list (I do, from time to time) then that is a great idea, but personally I find completely unrelated things to be more inspiring.
Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.
