Kaizo

This is at least an attempt at a pit hack. I wasn't really trying to make it as hard as possible. Just creativity and fun factor. It is a 300 subscriber special just as the title screen says. It will not be as puzzling or heavy on the tricks and glitches as Glitch Abuse 2 since I am not a TASer.

You see what I did there with the BG?

Due to the timing, I'm not sure if it's possible to pass this part and scroll the Koopa off the ledge, but you do have to get it off the ledge.

Free falling down a shaft that would make Miss Trunchbull green with envy.

I actually found a creative use for sliding Koopas in a Kaizo/pit hack. Also, the shell segment right after this was not based on HoorayForJay's recent video. I made this part before he uploaded it and I thought I was being original.

Guess what you have to do here.

1-up babysitting to feed a Yoshi later on.

This is why I couldn't put a layer 3 BG. I'm using layer 3 smash and at one point you have to survive under one (I think).

Coin block cavern vibe.

Be thankful this isn't applicable to the flying part. I'm not THAT cruel.

The part I showed in my unlisted video. It's actually not quite the hardest part of the level. More like the runner up.

The ending is a little rushed because I couldn't think of a creative way to end the level that would also be fairly difficult but easy enough for even a non-TASer to do. Also, if you think you see any wall jump or block duplication breaks, you're wrong. I took care of that with the respective fix patches (if this is the correct copy of the ROM, that is).

Wow, great level! The first room looks a bit empty, and there is some cutoff at the rope in your fourth screenshot (if you're willing to sacrifice the BG you could fix this by adding a layer 2 and extending the rope there), but other than that the level looks amazing!
Oh, and I see no breaks.

That's a pretty cool level, though I think there are some breaks. In the cave room, I think you can feed baby Yoshi with both the throw block and the two 1ups (that counts as eating five). And also, the last sliding koopa at 2:21 (and also the fourth screenshot) is not needed.

I kinda had a hunch that the berry might not have been needed, but I decided not to worry too much. For some reason I absolutely loathe feeding Yoshi with only three items. The important thing was the 30 coins puzzle.
You mean the bottom sliding Koopa, right? I seem to be on a roll for including things that don't affect the level design, but are not needed, either :P

I just noticed something (by looking into Lunar Magic): was the bottom blue pipe supposed to lead to an death room after you get hurt by the Sumo Brother flame? Because it's not.

Let me defend my pride here ;P
I don't think it's possible to feed the baby yoshi with only three items there, since the two 1-ups are on top of eachother, and feeding with only 3 items requires fixed amounts of waiting in between each item. And at any rate having a spare 1-up, berry or note-block almost running out won't do you any good there, so it won't be useful. (It might actually be possible since there is about 1 pixel difference between the two 1-ups in the video.)
Same goes for the extra sliding koopa, it isn't of any use whatsoever. A break needs to be easier or faster, if it's neither I don't really think it'd count as a break.

First level, can you take the shell, jump on the koopa while he's on the edge (or screen scroll him off), land on yoshi, eat the shell and spit it out through the munchers to hit the mushroom block, then if you're lucky you could get the shell back and shell jump up to the pipe, not sure about that break.

Room with the 1up block, you could potentially spin jump off the throw block then jump into the pipe that way, saving time.

Awww no walljumps or duplication. C'mon man, you took the fun out of pit hacks and TASing =P.
Your layout has been removed.
That's kinda my way of taking the easy way out. I do not like requiring wall jumping and for once I actually care about breaks such as those. If this was a regular Kaizo level, I would leave wall jumping alone. I figured it would be easier than designing the entire level around the anticipation of wall jumping.
Course there is the off chance that I only thought I applied the patch but it was a different back up copy.

Just have some munchers to run across with a low ceiling before hand, meaning you have to take yoshi to walk across them.
I'm thinking about whether I want to make a new download with HoorayForJay's suggestion. I'm also thinking that the flying coin control and layer 2 rooms just might inspire me to make an entirely cape flight based hack, and the difficulty of those rooms will be pretty much par.
