Eh... - Notable Threads

I know this has been suggested before, but I think the best way isn't to just kick out spammers and idiots, but to keep them from coming in altogether. Perhaps a special forum will newbies have to proof their intelligence before they're allowed to submit, rate, or post? Similar to what the old Acmlm's Board had before letting people into the hacking forums. There could be a special group of trusted users to moderate the forum so the actual moderators don't get overwelmed.

	Like have a separate power level for them, and they can only post in that specific forum until they get their power level raised to normal by showing that they can actually do things right?

Not a Bad Idea and it Is Possible. Your Just going to Have to wait until someone decides to sit down And Code Something like that.

Eveything added to the site by Boom has just backfired or never used.

Post layouts = omg

Submit your own hack/patches/etc. = epic omg

Online Tools = almost never used -_-;

I Wasn't talking about Boom Doing it. I Ment an Example that we all can follow from another forum. But if boom could do it, it wouldn't Be a bad thing.

I endorse this Idea.

I remember that idea in the old thread, They could have to show some images or a gameplay video to the moderators in the "Prooving" forum, and if they like it they'll let him or her pass. That would be really helpful for the skilled hackers. AS IF I KNOW WHAT TO PUT HERE.

Yeah and when they are ready, they will show us thier stuff. I like that idea.

That would be a good idea, I for one wouldn't mind watching over it if I was given the job and it was made.

I wouldn't mind either. But that would be too much work for the admins if they had to switch everyone's powers.

If possible, make the group moderating the "Proving Grounds" (as I shall call it) a separate group from the regular moderators, giving them the ability to upgrade from "Forum Newbies" to regular members.

I'd be one of the people who told them what is wrong with their hack, and let them post again to see if they can fix it. But we'd have to have someone (each probably, I might be able to take french) for the spanyards and japs and all the rest who don't speak english...

This is a thing that's happening, now. Achievements in old video games.

Why doesn't Boom just add the whole "Trial" feature like at the Justus Board?

Let people who just registered prove they are worthy to be a member here. Give 'em... eh... about a week to prove themselves.
