Munchers?

Ive noticed that alot of Hacks (mostly rejected ones) feature an enormous amount of munchers, but ive never used them at all. Why are they so overused?

A lot of people use them for cheep kills, but it ends up making their hack look horrible.

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

- Floating in the air or stacked on top of one another, when something like a Gordo from the Kirby series would be more fitting for floating munchers. Not making use of any of the Map 16 tiles from 300-FFF to X flip Munchers supposed to be rooted to ceilings doesn't help matters either.
- Cheap increase of difficulty instead of making use of better level design to challenge the player. As far as I'm concerned, overuse of munchers usually indicate poor level design.

It's basically a cheap kill. If you use munchers in your hack consider learning how to use a program to redraw them because smw munchers are REALLY ugly.

Agreed. I gave them SMB3 Graphics and I'm finally using Munchers (but not many at all, I'm pretty much using them for decoration).
--------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------

VERY good call there.

I'm using it now.
