Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.

102's New Player Graphics and Character Creation Kit
This is really nice and really helpful I was hoping a little that you'd be able to export a bin file or something instead of having to manually moving stuff over to GFX32 but hey this is so much better than just working with GFX32.
This is probably the best-looking custom Mario sprite I've seen. Great job on that! It's definitely something fresh for the eyes, and the changes aren't so radical that you'd have to spent a long time getting used to the graphics. The colors and shading make it a little smoother overall than the rest of SMW, but most hacks go in that direction anyway, so it's a nice fit.
Extra points for putting in so much effort into the presentation, too! You really went out of your way to make things easy for others, and that's some very solid video work as well.
Charming work! I love how the spritework still retains the look of smw's original sprite, while also having it's own nice and quirky style. The video presentation is really charming too, that editing is top tier.
I really like this new character sprite, and I appreciate the effort of making a video presentation to show off your tools and work process. Although I don't know anything about making graphics, what you shared looks pretty useful for people that want to make their own player sprites, so good job
This zip file looks incredibly useful. The rom and everything, I cannot wait to use it! The videos as well. They're going in depth on both your character toolkit and the mario sprite and they're really well made!
This is definetly one of my C3 highlights so far.
That intro to the video was pretty much 10/10 best C3 entry ever.
Really love how in depth you are about the process of editing Mario as I wish I had something this detailed back when I started hacking.
The Mario Sprite is really well done and I want to see it used more in hacks that want some extra variety to them even if it is just changing how Mario looks.
Redrawing all of Mario's graphics is an accomplishment in its own right. These new graphics fit right in with the original vanilla style. I'm sure many people will like using them in their hacks, as its always nice to see new things.
When you hack the game so much over so many years, all the original assets become ingrained into ones brain. Again, nice to see a fresh new take on this!
10/10 for the video which I almost watched until the very end.
