Technically I have Abridged Ordeal relased on NCFC months ago but im currently in the process of making a C3 version that addresses some things I never entirely gotten around to do, which is updating 3 levels with the required content they should have.

To start, heres a port Torchkas recently finished (on commission) within the Christmas week (after a long time):



This replaces the original version in 2017.

Second - Extending a level in Ordeal bc the one in the NCFC version I felt it was too short and not enough of an endgame level. Here is the progress I have of it:



Thirdly, Mario's House level now has a proper look to it thanks to Mikeystar (also on commission).





More to come in the following days of C3.

Still going with the pumpkin hill theme, I see.

Kudo for making Mario not deflate when hit in the balloon state, it was very annoying when that happened.

Anywho, the entire level so far has just been looking fan-freaking-tastic, but I would like to point out a couple of things:
·The piranha plant replacements always struck me as really odd. They aren't radially symmetrical so when they aim up, instead of looking like they're actually aiming upwards, they completely turn their head upside down.
·Everything in the foreground looks so good except for the blue bricks at the beginning and end of the castle section. There's so much polish in everything that the weirdly colored bricks with cutoff stand out that much more.

That said, it's shaping up to be something really grand! Just... don't overdo it on Pumpkin Hill, or it will get broke.

On @ Pumpkin Hill BG Concerns - Trust me, this is the last time ill be showcasing the background as I pretty much have what I need involving the resources that I want to showcase, which is 3 levels in the Abridged version that I will post a C3 update to it tomorrow, 1 level among them using Torchkas' port of A Ghost Pumpkin Soup instead of the previous one by someone else, and the expanded version in development, more levels for it haven't been made yet and will be focusing on other environment themes (I have some plans involving a village, a slime cave, and Hang Castle to name a few)

I will also consider updating a bunch of other levelsets I or others made to be more in line with Kixune's art style most prominently seen in Level 1 and Pumpkin Hill Zone themed levels in my hack in the expanded version, which I think will help out on making the art style consistent. (As for those who are confused on what I am saying on expanded version, its this: The expanded version is basically the standards change from 2018 onward in which I plan to have 30+ levels instead of 9-10 from the Abridged version).

Anyways, something to expect in the expanded version -


For over the latter half of 2019 and will continue on during 2020 and beyond for as long as I am developing this hack, I will be having cutscene graphics be made by DragonEmperor (aka -DE-, Maciej) on commission. The sequence above is for a currently in-development earlygame cutscene sequence that happens shortly after the Introduction sequence whom BigPotato made back in 2018. (which will also be having style adjustments to be more in line with the above in the future.)

Well, you are a talented musician. Credit is where its due on the OP. (and consider I recall obtaining permission from you to showcase it unless I misinterpreted that).



New scene I commissioned from -DE-, goes directly after the Peach scene.


Unfortunately I haven't been able to finish extending the level since I also spent yesterday doing another level for another hack collab… So the update will happen on early Monday.

Patch will come later today, just need to import in a few more assets for another level. Additionally, a friend of mine is going to livestream it that same Monday in the evening.
