This C3 launched with a blank banner and a myriad of old friends - some helpful, some less helpful, some full of vitriol, some... banzai'd, some with a keen eye, and some forgotten.
Oh yeah, and Absent Ministrator showed up. Lovely! With your guys help and a little bit of Mario Art, our devious felon was found in that of the Slurp Bandit. While he did apologize, he will be put to death for his crimes.
With that aside, it's results time! Firstly:
-Ties of more than three people are not awarded trophies, except for first place.
-Third place is not awarded trophies if there are at least five total first and second place winners.
-The Super Mario World Central Production 2 Completion Project - More Progress! is credited to both Falconpunch and Blind Devil. While I am also a project leader, my schedule made me unable to contribute enough to what is shown off here to feel comfortable accepting a trophy.

Congrats to Mario Hacks on their successful hack! A wonderful looking hack, some insanely impressive animations, completely standalone SMAS games and those pesky Cosmic Clones all earn the rest of the good boy places.
Wanting to make a long ass level, but SMW only provides one regular Midpoint per level? Boy, does MarioFanGamer have the tool for you! And, are you a big fan of Unedited Footage of a Bear and just really want to be chased down by evil clones of yourself? lx5 has you covered!
And the second and third place entries... Very good.
These threads all surprised the living hell out of our users. Some may have even wet their pants in fright.

Mario Hacks is on a bloodthirsty rampage this C3, winning left and right like it's the Wolf of Wall Street and all that matters is the fame. And "1 port" just earned Wakana "1 Gold Trophy". Incredible.
Seeing as Super Mario World was actually made by Nintendo and not Tahixham, I think it's fair to instead give the trophy to Shigeru Miyamoto.
randomdude999 went full YUMP by putting the Bee Movie script into SMW, and also earned himself a pretty little trophy in doing so.
Awful Emblem - a Fire Emblem hack by FPzero, Teyla, and their fellow goons was pretty overlooked this C3. Maybe it was because of the Byleth presentation and everyone deciding they hated Fire Emblem all of a sudden. Or maybe, just maybe, it was because he got cursed by a witch who gave them bad C3 luck. But we all love you and wish your hack the best!
And Cop Mario - a team fangame by Yoshiatom, CSketch and Smedis2 (the latter two who seem to not be on SMW Central) also takes the gold for Most Overlooked. It may have gotten only 1 reply, but it has gotten more than 1 C3 trophy this year. And that's the good shit right there.
so 2 mice walk into a first place C3 trophy, baby! Congratulations to the Mario Hacks community and Sixcorby for also winning some neat prizes. Next year, let's all collab on 3 Mice Perform a Slurdgery While Partaking in the 2nd Kochobo Dourado Collab.
These three hacks are all hacks the community are lookin forward to and had a blast playing, so best of luck with the completion of them!

xHF01x's scary as all beans Pit Hack takes the gold this time around - and every other Kaizo Hack on earth makes up 2nd and 3rd place. I kinda like it when everyone wins. Next year, everyone will get gold C3 Trophies just because we at SMW Central are that nice.
Awful Emblem makes a triumphant return to nab the first place for this category! And congrats to RussianMan and yoshifanatic for netting in the top 3 as well.

All these hacks had really nice trailers showcasing what to expect from them, and they're all very well deserved. Great job, guys!
Ah, great and original Mario GFX are few and far between, and MM102 sits on his throne of gold for completing this monumental task. And those animations Deeke, christ man you're a god. And Gamma V coming in with the tilesets!
Darolac provided his children (the site) with some wonderful food (his ASM). For this task, he will be thanked with one "C3: Best ASM Thread (Winter C3 2020)", with some fancy gold plating to wrap it all up.

Surely the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Soundtrack Slowburn Sampler Sound of Screams would See First Place This See Three. And don't even get me started on the Super Mario World Central Creativity Convention Exo Expo Extravaganza, which Earned Enough Votes to Emerge Second. bebn's mad multilingual multi-musical motivation-inconsistent mthread made me merry, so magically it made third place.
Request threads are all the buzz, and a mixture of ASM and Art won this C3. I suppose you could call ASM an art of sorts, but I'd be hard pressed to call art an ASM.
Congrats Falconpunch! Minecraft just earned you a mighty trophy. And... Soul Calibur earned Wakana a trophy, too? Video Games really do be important like that huh
