I want to use the Spyro the Dragon logo in my hack's title screen. I found an image online and resized it to fit my title screen. The only problem is getting the palette and tiles set up. I plan on using Lunar Magic's bitmap pasting feature to get the palette and tiles set up, but the logo is going be a Layer 3 graphic that's going to be used on the Title Screen. Can Lunar Magic's bitmap pasting feature be used to make Layer 3 title screen images? If so, what do I do differently compared to a standard Layer 1 or 2 image?

It was only really meant to be used with 4bpp graphics, not 2bpp.
Well, I already figured out a solution. Use the bitmap pasting feature as normal, but make sure you use only 4 colors. Then, open the generated ExGFX files with YY-CHR, switch to 4BPP SNES, cut the graphics, switch to 2BPP GB, then paste. I think that should give me Layer 3 GFX.

Not quite If you take a 4BPP graphic file that is 4KB and just switch to 2BPP for the rendering type it doesn't change the file size and Layer 3 2BPP graphics are 2KB large and have less space than a 4BPP file.
