SPC

There is a lot going on with this port that doesn't make it meet the quality standards of the section. It's also worth mentioning that it sounds an awful lot like MercuryPenny's version and oL7G5poF4c's version. The #instruments definition and echo commands ($EF and $F1) are almost identical to MercuryPenny's, save for one or two changed bytes, while the channel layout is identical to oL7G5poF4c's. In essence, this is just the latter run through an SPC > MIDI > MML conversion, with the former's instruments thrown on. Please do not use other people's ports as a base for your own, and this includes using converters on other people's SPCs; it's redundant at best and plagiarism at worst. Including the original porter's name as an author is not enough (and in this case, I don't believe ThePreyShow is the original author of the port either). In other words, converting the port ddoesn't give you authorship of it. You will be section banned if you submit any other plagiarized ports.

The only acceptable use of converter programs is on SPCs from the original source, not from other people's ports, and only if the resulting output is cleaned up. As well, keep in mind that running SPCs through converters can break certain things, and in this case, I believe that a lot of the broken note lengths throughout the song are caused by the SPC to MIDI converter.

All that aside, the port still has some issues, all of which are the result of the automatic conversion with no cleanup:
First, the @8's octave is set too high, which causes the entire bassline to overflow and therefore sound completely off in relation to everything else. While you could set the octave to o1 to alleviate this, parts of the bass would still overflow since it still goes too high. You could try halving the tuning values ($1E $00) alongside lowering the octave and see if that works, or otherwise just use a different sample altogether, one with a higher octave range.

Second, there are plenty of noticeably off note lengths throughout the song, such as around 0:03, 0:10, 0:15, and so on.

Third, nothing in this port is optimized (i.e. looped), therefore making the insert size much bigger than it needs to be.

Fourth, the loop point isn't correct, and the song abruptly cuts out before jumping back to the beginning.

I would suggest reading Wakana's tutorial and familiarizing yourself with MML from scratch instead of taking other people's ports and converting them. You'll learn a lot more that way.
