Layer 2 Mario path on overworld?


I have a question. Most Mario paths on OW is layer 1 (except for some hardcoded paths). My question is: is it possible to make layer 2 Mario path using #lm{owev1} so it won't replace other layer 1 tiles?

The #lm{owev1} still creates Layer 1 tiles, it just makes them event-activated rather than always available. So that won't solve your issue.

If you only need the graphics of the tile, your best bet would be to recreate the graphics you need through ExGFX so that you can put it on Layer 2.
