I just have one more level to finish the first demo, and I have been thinking if the executions of my levels, particularly the first ones I made in 2015-2016 could still be accepted today. There is also a problem where I sometimes make things either better or worse while changing things, due to how inconsistent my mindset is.

I don't feel convinced of how strict it is. And even though I gave downloads of beta versions of my hack on a couple of threads, nobody even tries to test it and help me find issues anyway. I playtest excessively, but the disadvantage I have is me identifying the issues and the fact that nowadays it takes months to finish making a single level to make sure it's polished.

So, what do you think I should do and what are the optimized methods of making levels and the overworld?

Submit it if you must. There's no "optimized" method of making levels, so just build them as you see fit, as long as they abide by the guidelines.

Also, hire people to test your hack, even though you don't gather attention by creating a thread for such at first.
If your level is from 2011-12, then it's more likely it won't comply to today's standards. If it's from 2015-16, you should be okay when you add some more polishes when necessary.

Make a thread in Hack Testing being sure you can abide to this subforum's rules. If you're hack is ready to go, submit it.

I will try, but it also depends how reliable it is and which person I need to hire that's not too busy.

I had SomeGuy712x test my hack back in summer 2016, and now his upload schedule is too intense to do it again right now.
