This is a question only YouTubers can answer

Do you have a YouTube channel? Do you have a pesky competitor on YouTube?

Well, I own 3 channels based on Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo

I am planning something big for the Nintendo channel

I ran out of ideas for the Sony channel

The one I mostly use is the Microsoft channel for some reason.

But in every mostly used channel comes a pesky competitor.

I can’t mention his name, but I call him “Stupid Windows Flanders”

Because of him now I make 8K 60fps videos

So, do you have a pesky competitor on YouTube?

You are lucky

What do you even mean by that? Unless they're outright stealing your videos, there's only so many topic ideas to got around.

:/

They are outright stealing my ideas

Well, if you search around, you can note that a lot of videos have identical ideas, so I don't see why can't you have your own take at the idea you say is being stolen from you. I wouldn't argue they are "competitors", just people with different views for the same topic.

OK.

I get it, but that YouTuber looks like 70% of his videos are from me.

He stole many unique ideas from me.

Including 4K 60fps, which was rare on YouTube

Not really? I'm pretty sure it's been a thing on YouTube pretty much since 4K gaming started becoming morew widespread.

Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!

The image quality of a video is a thing, but what really matters is the content. If your video don't contains interesting contents, even 16K 120FPS won't help you.

Some of YouTubers I am following is still making videos at only 1080p30, but they have some good contents make me want to watch.

Wait, I'm confused. He's stealing your videos or your ideas? If it's the former, it's as easier as reporting them.

Personally I am curious about this whole topic I am a YouTube I have been making content for roughly 12 years I would not say I have a competitor in any manner.

Also 8K 60fps video? Really YouTube does allow 4K resolution but I don't think they have an 8K setting plus for most people it would be worthless as if you run in a standard window even in theater mode 1080 is downgraded a bit so it's not true 1080 and it's the same for all higher resolutions too.

Also yeah is this dude stealing your videos or your ideas you're being really unclear about it and should probably provide evidence that he is in fact taking your stuff. I've you're just basing it off youtube's copyright page which lets you see if anyone else's videos match your own that system is so broken which I can prove.

For what it's worth, if your videos are *actually* being stolen (as in, they're downloading your videos and re-uploading them completely), then you can easily solve the problem by flagging their videos or reporting them to YouTube. That's a pretty easy problem to fix.

If it's just videos that have identical "ideas", then you'll need to have some fairly strong evidence that those ideas are actually being *stolen* from you, if you want YouTube's moderators to take your claim seriously. You haven't even posted links to the channels/videos here, so it's hard for anyone on this site to come to a conclusion on that.

IDK of anyone else that posts ROM hacks, virtual roller coasters, and the occasional third option all in the same channel. Any potential rivals I have with any of those type of content, I would not call them "pesky." In fact we probably grab inspiration from one another in symbiosis.
