I used this older version for HLDC 2019, but I heavily edited it so it can fit as a foreground for SMW, with a separated background and a more fitting pallette. I also added support for the SMW ghost house wooden platforms and some spider web stuff. The provided level uses the SMW ghost house background.
All the files numbers point to what I used for extraction.

Multiple reasons led to rejecting this:
-Sample Level needs the map16 page to be inserted on Page 03, but the map16 file inserts them into page 0B instead causing all the tiles in the level to not load the correct graphics unless manually corrected.
-The map16 is massively disorganized and tiles next to each other have little to no relation. I suggest grouping the ground and platform tiles, the cobweb tiles and the other objects like door and water in their own little section. Also not sure, but Tile B25 and B2D seem to serve no prupose.
-The Palette is equally disorganized and uses up 4 palette rows when it could pretty much be possible to only use 2 maybe at most 3 due to the free spaces and unused colors for the tiles left in them.
-Sample Level Requests a ExGFX File for Sprites that is not present in the download (ExGFXB1)
-Sample Level wants to play Custom Music but there is non inserted, this means the game will go completely silent.
-Tile 331 should have Layer Priority enabled, at least in the context of the sample level, as to not let Mario pop out infront of it.
-The door starting from Tile 31D seems to be intended for being used undewater, but is unable to be used so, because there exist no top part that acts like water and the bottom part is just a white Tile that does nothing.
